This B & B was a lovely place to stay, room was spotless and very well presented. Only a quick walk into town centre and great parking facilities. Alan and Janice were wonderful hosts, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with them. Great breakfast. Would recommend this place to stay, will definitely be back

The B&B is just a 15min walk from the town centre. Our room was large and spotless. There are little extras which make this a really nice place to stay. There are biscuits and mints in the room as well as tea and coffee. Also as we didn't drink the tea and coffee Alan got us water and ice each... More

Pleasant, reasonably priced B&B recently taken over by couple planning to upgrade one room at a time. Good breakfast. Hosts helpful but not intrusive. Ample parking - plenty of eating places nearby. Close access to promenade. 15 mins walk to town centre.

This was the first time we had to look for accommodation for the NW200 weekend and we were a bit nervous as to what to expect. However, as soon as we stepped foot in Alan and Janice's B&B we felt very much welcomed and at home. Alan showed us around and we went through our plans for the weekend, including... More

After a long travel day from Galway/Aran Iles, we found this B & B a warm, welcoming place. Alan took the time to give us a quick orientation to the town as well as some recommendations on restaurants as well as how to get a scenic view along the way. The promenade walk was wonderful and is close to the... More

I had a wonderful two night stay in June while visiting family locally. Alan and Janice were excellent hosts, very welcoming and helpful. The room was well presented and extremely clean. The breakfast great with the Ulster fry the highlight. I would definitely go back!!

This was my favorite place to stay during my Ireland trip! Alan and Janice were very helpful and friendly! My brother and I really enjoyed talking with them, and they gave great advice on where to eat in town and things to do. This B&B is in a great location, and the coast is within walking distance. Alan and Janice... More

Anvershiel House was my first B&B experience, and the hosts set a high bar! I've never been treated so warmly and respectfully, as Alan and Janice bent over backwards to meet every need of mine, and the rest of my group. I wound up staying in one of the refurbished rooms (WOW! - I'm not sure I've ever stayed in... More

I was treated to room 2 and I loved it the minute Alan opened the door and I saw the bay window. My brother and I were in Ireland for 22 days and this was the most comfortable bed that I had in 3 weeks. It was very clean and well-appointed. Alan and Janice were great hosts and we enjoyed... More

We had booked Anvershiel last August based on the location in Portrush and viewing access for the bike races. When we contacted them in February to confirm our accommodation Alan introduced himself and Janice as the new owners and assured us all was in order for our arrival in May. To say they far exceeded our expectations for our 5... More
