Everything was excellent, attitudes to customers, cleanliness, room, staff, bar and dining, will stay again. A big thanks to Amanda and Mark, we were a group of golfers and nothing was too much trouble. Portrush was a perfect base with lots of places to eat and make merry. Free parking and free Electric car charging close by. Thanks again.....
We are just back from our amazing stay here and I can’t fault it at all! The staff were all super friendly especially the lovely bartender (sorry we didn’t catch your name!). The spa facilities are great too! Our room was super clean and beds were so comfortable. The best bit of all was the view from the room! Could see the ocean and watch the sunrise if you’re up early enough. Amazing.
At the tale end of our two weeks in Ireland, this was our last stop before heading back to Dublin. The hotel is in a good location with street parking. It is an easy walk down to the harbor where a number of restaurants are available. Our breakfast was OK. The fruit on the trolley did not look “fresh” and looked like it came out of cans. Otherwise, all was fine. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. We had a cocktail in their bar, but it does close early.
Checked in and all fine, evening meal, fine until we were advised the bar closed at 9.30pm. Breakfast was a disgrace. The trolley service was basically leftovers from other tables and the scrambled eggs we were offered had been cooked for hours. No offer of an alternative except the dried out pastries in the trolley. Our empties from the night before were left in the room all day. Needless to say we’ve cancelled our evening meal for this evening! For the price of £150 per night there’s better service in the area. I’m sorry about this as I’ve been a returning customer for 12 yrs. Spoke to receptionist this morning to state my concerns and although she said she would raise the issues with “management” so far there had been no response from them. Hence this review.
This weekend was another great stay for us at the Adelphi hotel Portrush. We felt so relaxed and the staff were so friendly. The food in the bistro was top notch and the room was deserving of their 4 Stars. The breakfast choices cover all tastes and are delicious. Well done everyone!
Food absolutely excellent. Very reasonable, good choices, high standard of food, generous portions! Good service from the young staff. Are here twice during our week in Portrush as it was so good the first time. Sunday beef lunch dad said was the best beef he ever had! And a bargain. Enjoyed everything else too. Lovely
Very central location. Very friendly staff - everyone very obliging and happy to help. Beautiful room overlooking the Main Street - 3 adults (mother and 2 daughters). We made use of the Health Suite for a few hours on arrival, beautiful jacuzzi, sauna room and steam room. There was a bottle of water per person provided in the room which was a nice gesture. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family.
Had a great stay at the Adelphi - spacious room, comfortable beds, good shower. The food was excellent and the staff pleasant and helpful. Only one (minor) fault - breakast wasn't served til 9a.m. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
This was an unexpectedly good find! we were a group of 5 girls having a weekend away and booked two triple rooms. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location, right on main street. The staff were lovely, reception, waiting staff, bar service and even the night porter when we lost our key. The rooms were very large and full of character. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, ample space for us all to gather in one room and chill out. Nice and warm too. The health suite with hot-tub, jacuzzi and steam room was great for relaxing in for an hour before heading out. we also had a massage in the spa upstairs (just one room with one therapist) but it was one of the nicest Swedish massages I've had in a long time. Good choice and quality of food for breakfast too. The evening meal in the bistro was a little underwhelming though, with not exactly an inspiring menu, however the waitress was brilliant...chatty, friendly, smiley! We will definitely be revisiting this little gem of a hotel…
Very welcoming staff left a lovely card and bottle of wine for my 60th birthday. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are all lovely.Spa was lovely .Very enjoyable stay loking forward to returning.
