Have never stayed over in this hotel and to be honest i never will. Ive came to their bar a few times after a night out and their prices are scandalous.. it is full of older drunk men or else underage kids. Avoid

Is someone seriously having a laugh about this hotel? Try staying here at the weekend and you'll experience every one of the most drunk and highly sexed teenagers that have descended upon Portrush looking to drink until the week hours. Honestly, this hotel cannot be renting rooms to normal people and must survive by renting them by the hour. Do... More

I cannot speak for the rooms in this hotel but the meal I had was the worst in my life. Half cooked chicken, frozen chips and my daughters Lasagne was vile. Sorry folks but you need to improve. Stay well away.

We stayed at this hotel recently. We had a long drive from the south and it was the first place we came across when we got to Portrush. The owner of this place clearly has not visited other hotels before setting room rates. We would not recommend this hotel to any travellers unless you are absolutely desperate for a place... More

My Husband and Grandson stayed here on Saturday night as every where else was booked out. I had no trouble booking a triple room.I had read the reviews and was very apprehensive about staying! We checked the beds, mattresses and towels before we had unpacked ...They were spotless!! but the room was very old and dated with no shower in... More

I have been waiting a while to review this place since i ate there with my girlfriend. My blood is still boiling almost a week after. We went there because it was busy everywhere and we were looking for a quick solution, i should have known when it was blacked out. We entered to groups of clueless youths standing about... More

The hotel is a bit run down, the waiting staff need some serious training but on the few times we've eaten in The Eglington over the last year, it's been good value for great steak and kids meals. The steaks are sourced from a local butcher and definitely worth it if you don't fancy the wait and the noise of... More

We went to the Eglinton on the 1st August, it was the first place we came to on leaving the car park. We were absolutely starving and asked could we order 5 bowls of soup immediately and choose/place the order for our main meal while waiting on soup. 'No you can't do that, it has to be all ordered together..'... More

For a hotel that has great potential we were appalled at the service, or lack of service of this restaurant. We dined today as a party of 9 and were shocked at the cool almost ignorant attitude of staff. There was no organisation among staff or attention to diners requests. We sat and waited, and waited for order to be... More
