This is no luxurious inn, but a charming hostel offering great value. The ground floor is a bit chaotic and a buzz with staff, and families in the common area. The gentleman who checked us in and showed us to our room was super friendly. The towels were all mismatched, the beds not the most comfortable, but they did the... More

As we never stayed in a hostel before we were not sure what to expect. I was really pleased how central the hostel was to Portrush, very well positioned. We were very pleased in all aspects of our stay and the hostel. When we arrived we were greeted and checked in, we were then given a tour of the kitchen,... More

Had a one night midweek stay on a road trip from Wales to Donegal. Plenty of parking outside in the day but we would have struggled in the evening. The room was similar to an en suite bedroom. Nice, clean and functional. Nothing at all to complain about for the price.

Stayed in a lovely double room, spotless and comfortable. Private bathroom is a bonus as is free wifi. Breakfast was included but we did not avail of this. Location is great for restaurants and shops. Value for money. Towels and handsoap provided so bring other toiletries.

It's a great place you can't fault it. The owner has it sorted...towels and soap in all the bathrooms, great breakfast, warm rooms....my only criticism is...despite a warm greeting by the Australian receptionist - the other staff could do with a cheery smile! It lifts the whole place when you see a happy face and this then encourages guests to... More

I was dubious about bringing the family to 'a hostel' as like most people my 1st thought would be young, singletons, hens or stags or backpackers maybe drinking and causing a nuisance - Boy was I wrong, it's a very well run establishment. On 1st appearance, location was great.. just a 5/10mins from beach and the town and right beside a... More

Would never choose another hostel to stay in. This is a superb hostel in which the hosts Phil and Collette are always very welcoming and they've also got volunteers now which cuts the work they need to do. The hostel is always clean, tidy and well specious. I recently stayed in the Beach Cabin/Hut which is located out the back... More

Recently stayed in this hostel around a week ago and once again I've been impressed with my stay and I wouldn't choose another hostel to stay in. I stayed in the Beach Cabin/Hut which was lovely and quiet. Yet again Phil, Colette and the other helpers (forgot their names, sorry!) have helped keep the hostel nice and clean and would... More

I have been staying here for as long as I can remember simply cause it is the best hostel I have stayed in and I have stayed in quite a few. The hosts Phil and Collette are the nicest people you can meet and nothing is to much hassle. I stayed in the little beech hut and liked it cause... More
