We had tried and failed to get a room for the night at either the Adelphi or the Portrush Ramada / Atlantic. With it being the height of summer, our choice was limited. We arrived at the hotel and we were warmly greeted at reception. The bar staff and breakfast staff were also welcoming and friendly. The Port room we... More

Staying in any 'hotel' should be a treat. To be honest I'd have preferred to sleep in the boot of my car as opposed to here. -to start with, we booked two rooms next to each other when we arrived one on first floor and another in third floor. - no lift and no offer to carry suitcases up stairs.... Went in for lunch. Started to be wary of the place when I saw staff eating chips from what I thought was a other customers plate but turned out the girl worked there too. Ordered texan chicken and skinny fries, chicken was tough and plastered in cheese, skinny chips were fine, hubby got a steak and champ. Champ was lumpy... More

A weekend away with my partner, had a great warm welcome. The receptionist (Gillian) was very attentive, friendly and had great banter. There was also a good range for breakfast and it was very delicious. The entertainment including karaoke was great fun. Would have no doubt about staying at this hotel again.

The receptionist thought this was funny and joked about it at check in, not funny for us. First night was okay, second night we got... More
