My niece booked the hotel as a present for my 50th birthday. We stayed on a Saturday, the weather was great so hotel was busy (plus bank holiday weekend). The hotel was ok but a bit tired and grubby (mould around bath, marks on duvet cover, worn covers on chairs in bar) but view from room was fabulous. Staff were... More

Visited hotel restaurant with family on bank holiday weekend 29th August. Very busy Sunday. Although we had re-arranged our meal time the service was slow. The food was good and 3 steaks cooked just as my party ordered. I had the pork belly. I was disappointed as there was little pork and more belly. It was just my bad choice,... More

We are Lifetime Members of the National Trust and, wanting to visit The Giant's Causeway, it seemed the most logical place to stay was the National Trust hotel on the top of the hill. We arrived on a busy sunny afternoon and the queues for the Causeway carpark were long but, as guests of the hotel, we were able to... More

Excellent location right next door to Giant's Causeway visitor center. Can't get any better location-wise. Perfect place to stay for those looking to catch sunset or sunrises (and also when the crowds have dwindled a little)! Only there for one night but place was clean and had nice breakfast. Only wished they had dinner opened a little later (closed at... More

We're pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. We do normally serve later over the summer months but it must have been a particularly busy day when you visited. We do take your comments on board, it is particularly pleasing to watch the sunset from the dining room at this time of year. Thank you for taking the time to... More

We were famished when we arrived at the Causeway Hotel, and it's quiet dining room seemed like an oasis from the hordes or tourists milling around the Visitor Reception Centre for the Giant's Causeway. However, after we'd placed our order-nothing unusual, the pie of the day for me, and a warm chicken ceasar and a scone for my companion-the wait... More

Just visited for a family meal. Menu is limited. Two of us ordered cod and chips. At £12.50 it must be the worst piece of cod I have ever had. The batter was rubbery, couldn't hardly cut it with a knife and the chips were scarce. The onion rings were rubbery too. The kids meals were all over £5 and... More

We arrived with 2 children and had a fantastic meal. The restaurant is well laid out and not overcrowded like some places. The food was great with plenty to choose from on the menu and well priced. Staff were fantastic and could not do enough for us. I will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone.

Just spent another fab night at the Causeway. Here for my fiance's birthday treat and it didn't disappoint! Mentioned reason for stay to Jordan at reception and he arranged for a complimentary fruit platter which was left in our room when we arrived back from our walk. Breakfast was up to its usual high standard with friendly, helpful staff who... More

Perfect for visiting the Giants' Causeway, just besides the Cliffs. The rooms are useful and clean. The Service in professional. The Bar Service could be faster and more friendly. The Kitchen was good.
