A lovely warm & cosy atmosphere, comfortable rooms, a real log fire. All dietary requirements catered for and big breakfasts. We were made very welcome, everyone was so friendly. Beachgrove is a 15 minute walk from the railway station with a regular service also a very good & reasonably priced local taxis.

We did not get to star as Joanne had some pipe issues but she secured other lodging for us so that our trip was not interrupted. Thank you so much Joanne for looking out for us on our stay. Very grateful.

Hello Liz G - I’m glad things seemed to have worked out for you on your holiday. However there is nobody here called Joanne and nobody seems to remember anything here about ‘pipe issues’. Are you sure you have the right B&B? If so, when did you stay and what was your name please so we can follow up on your points. Many thanks. Best wishes, Betty.

We were recommended here and so glad that we were. We stayed 2 nights but had to change rooms for the second night. It was no trouble at all. The first room, unfortunately booked for the following night, was large, almost a suite, traditionally decorated and spotlessly clean. The second room was smaller but the we were only going to sleep in it and it was more than adequate. Breakfast was to die for, huge, so much so that we didn't have lunch on either day. Mrs Barron, what a lovely helpful lady and so helpful with info. on places to visit and drink and eat

Beechgrove is a nice B&B. It had everything we needed was in a lovey setting. Our only issue with the B&B was that it was not as friendly as we have come to expect from the other B&B’s we have stayed at. We were greeted warmly and made to feel comfortable and then our hosts disappeared. I guess I cannot fault them for that. They are running a business, not a social club, but every other place we have stayed has been very social. They have given us recommendations for dinner and activities and made us feel more welcome. It was what we had been expecting that was missing.

Mrs. Barron is a sweetheart! She was more than accommodating. Her home is spacious and beautiful. The rooms were fully stocked with bathroom necessities, hair dryers, and coffee/tea maker. Her breakfasts were delicious with the most choices I've experienced in any of the B&Bs I've stayed in during my trips to Ireland. The cereal choices alone...including gluten-free. The gorgeous view of the ocean doesn't hurt either! Would definitely stay again.
