This is a lovely B&B near Kerrickfergus in a picturesque country setting. The owner, Mrs.Barron, is like a sweet, considerate grandmother. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is a home cooked delight.Kerrickfergus is close by. The castle, originally built in 1177, is remarkable and wonderful to tour.

This B&B was outside Carrickfergus - a former farm, now just B&B. It's run by Betty, an elderly lady who was very pleasant and helpful. The room was dated but clean and the bed and shower were fine. The wifi was good, as was the breakfast. We were in an upstairs room that was fine, but our relatives had the... More

Actually we are still a working farm though most of the farming is now done by a relative. I'm glad you liked your rooms. Wanted an out of town traditional B&B at a reasonable price and wasn't disappointed. Starting with great quiet location yet near to Carrick & Belfast with brilliant views that include occasional cruise ships in and out of Belfast, plus free parking outside the farmhouse. A warm welcome from owners and hosts Betty & nephew Billy. We had room 8 which... More

I wanted to book somewhere a little quieter - away from main road, and with a bit of character and was so please to find this place. Betty was lovely and nothing was any trouble - including when I said that I had to be up early to catch our flight home. The breakfast was hearty and set us up... More

We stayed at Beechgrove for three nights in June. We had wanted to stay outside Belfast but somewhere with easy access into the city. Beechgrove certainly provided this; it was less than a 10 minute walk to Trooperslane railway station and then only a 20 minute train trip into Belfast. Trains were always spot on time and we were pleasantly... More
