This Hotel has definitely gone off for food. We went in last night, my husband and myself, for a meal. We ordered the goujons of chicken with champ. The goujons came out heaped on a plate, covered in the most greasy revolting batter with cold champ. The Chef sent this out and this shows that he has NO pride in... More

Always great food at a very good price, great night out with local banter, staff so freindly u always want to return for another visit, if your in the area call in for a pint or a meal, proper traditional pub with all the atmosphere you would expect from a great local, go on give it a go

Dobbins Inn Hotel Hotel has been upgraded and modernised whilst trying to maintain an old world atmosphere. Didn't really work. Bed was comfortable . Room was small. En-suite contained an individual water heater for the shower. No instructions on how to turn it on. As the shower recess was in the bath with a glass screen there wasn't much room... More

The hotel is located just in front of Sea shore. the staff are especially good, services is excellent. No variety in the breakfast offered. one good thing was we were able to find one good Indian Mayur Restaurant just two minutes walking distance from the hotel, evenings we can walk through the sea shore.

Having stayed before about a year ago for work, I came back with my wife to look around Carrickfergus Castle. I specifically booked Room 21 which is the haunted room. Nothing has occurred as yet other than the most friendly of staff, the best pint of Guinness and amazing food. Cannot recommend Dobbins Inn enough.

Great new restaurant opened at Dobbins called Landings. Had some fantastic finger foods, drinks and ents, well worth visiting. This is one of two hotels in NI that is haunted.... will you stay here? Great boost for Carrick.

I have been staying here since December 2015 for 1 or 2 nights on the weeks I have had to be in Ireland. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and welcoming and offers an ideal stop off. The food served is of a very good standard and their breakfast keeps hunger at bay until your evening meal if you have... More

Superb value. Best in Carrick. Very reasonable prices for the excellent portions. Great steak meal offer and well worth a visit. Very friendly staff, good service and quaint surrounding. Hotel is well recommended also. Spoke to a few travelers on my last visit who were very happy
