We felt very very welcome. Comfy rooms, cozy beds. Tip-top breakfast with large variety of cereals plus tasty Ulster fry. Very short walk (under 5 Mins) to the castle, waterside, and Wetherspoons. Thanks so much! Only the taxis in Carrickfergus are a bit late at times... ;)

Hi Nik, Thank you so much for writing this review so quickly. I am sorry my response wasn't as quick, as you know we where going away on Holiday ourselves. I must apologise on behalf of our local Taxi firm, to be fair to them they are usually very punctual. We really enjoyed your company and your stories of eating out in Belfast. lol We hope if any of you come back over to N. Ireland you will stay with us again,we really enjoyed the Craic we had with you and the boys. lol We appreciate you taking the time to write about your experience. Thanks again. Warmest regards, Raymond.

You’ve got to like climbing stairs. Lots of narrow stairs, hope your suitcase is light. Room was ok, pillows were flat, but carpet was filthy in our room. It was late and we ended up here, but nice walk to great restaurants on the nearby wharf. Breakfast was good.

Hi Yukon, Thank you for writing a review for us. It is with great dismay that we read you thought our carpet was not up to standard, we are in each room everyday and the carpets are cleaned thoroughly. We are so sorry you thought otherwise. We did an inspection of the room you where in and the only thing we can find wrong is the fact the pile on the carpet in that room runs the wrong way(fault of the carpet fitters)perhaps when the light hits it and because it is two tone brown it gave you a different impression. We pride ourselves on how clean we keep the rooms and it is shown in our other reviews to be one of the standards other Guests find consistent. We are sorry you felt the staircase narrow, I can assure you they are of the normal, standard, width. I do usually offer to carry Guests cases up the stairs, perhaps I was out when you arrived. We would normally show any Walk-in Guests the room before they decide to stay, if you felt there was a problem either with the cleanness of the carpet or the stairs, we are surprised that you decided to stay with us, or didn't point it out to us at first point of contact. We really do apologise that we didn't meet your standard on this occasion and we thank you again for telling us about your experience. We do take all our Guests reviews on board and we will look again for any ways we can find to implement changes, to meet our Guests exceptions. Extra pillows are kept in the wardrobes, sorry if we didn't point this out to you on check-in.Thank you again for your time. Warmest regards, Raymond.
