We stayed at Killycolp house to attend a wedding in the area. we stayed in a beautiful room on the first floor (I think it was the family room). It was like something out of pride and prejudice and immaculately presented. Hospitality was seconded to none and John and Liz made us feel very welcome. Would recommend to anyone.

As a 'Bed and breakfast' option 'Killykolp House' is unbeatable. The setting of the house away from the road and the everyday 'hustle and bustle' of life gives way to an idyllic & peaceful surround. The house and the beautifully furnished and cared for rooms within are full of character and interest. As if that is not enough to satisfy... More

This is the third year running I have spent my holiday at Killycolp House. John and Liz McGucken are most welcoming and make every effort to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The house is well set back from the road and very peaceful. I have no hesitation in recommending this excellent b and b. Elizabeth Romilly

We stayed at Killycolp House for 5 nights recently and enjoyed every moment there. John and Liz are excellent hosts - we had great chats during our breakfasts and again in the evening once we had returned from our day trips. The breakfasts were more than filling- we never needed lunch! The house is beautiful and John gave us a... More

We stayed at Killycolp on a recent trip to northern Ireland for a friend's wedding and would certainly recommend it. The house itself has plenty of character and John and Liz were extremely friendly and certainly know how to make an excellent breakfast! Would certainly stay again if we were in the area.

Excellent hospitality from John and Liz! We stayed for the weekend as we had a wedding nearby and could not have been looked after better in their lovely old house. Rooms large and all en suite. Penguin biscuits and milk in the room at night contributed towards 5 star service! John very understanding and flexible despite last minute plan changes.... More

We stayed here ten years ago and promised we would come back for the ambiance of the property and the famous Cookstown sausages which we have talked about often. We finally made it back and it definitely did not disappoint. The property is a lovely Georgian home, very historic and set on beautiful grounds. We stayed in the Morning Room,... More
