Lovely looking exterior and grounds, but the hotel is very tired. Rooms had marks all over the wall, door handles came off, mouldy curtains it just really needs some TLC! To top it all off had to argue about the price of the room before leaving. Much better hotels for less money available in Cookstown itself. This hotel is sadly... More

As a local within the Tyrone area i havent been to this Hotel for a few years and it has always had a great reputation but sadly this seems to have delclined over the years. Recently I attenend a wedding and had the displeasure of an evening meal on Saturday. The wedding was ok to say the least. It really... More

The hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere but there is a severe lack of attention to detail. The room we were in was cramped with dated furniture and the windows were extremely dirty. We went for a walk around the grounds which are poorly maintained and really overgrown. They have such potential but have been left to grow wild.... More

Lovely venue for a wedding. God was good staff very friendly. Plenty of space wedding held in separate building with good outside space as weather was kind. Didn't stay over but those that did enjoyed it.

31/8/16 arrived for Sunday lunch. Food was woeful. There were flies everywhere in the restaurant and landed on our food. I complained that there was no fly zapper. Staff were very aloof. To top it all we were charged for 3 courses instead of two. This also happened to my brother and sister who had a meal here weeks previosly.... More

Sometimes thinks do not work out when on holiday despite good research. This property has a great history and is set in expansive grounds. The buildings and rooms are however in dire need of rennovation. We travelled with friends and both rooms were well below what was expected - our batroom was last rennovated in the 1950's I would estimate.... More

We only stayed here for one night but we loved it! Check in was easy, no issues. The room - no issues in the room we had (room 1). Perfect size with a comfy bed. The bathroom - huge!! It had a shower and a bath. Loved it. Outside - lots of room to park your car and the grounds... More
