We had lunch as a group of friends at the Boars Head on a day visit to Carmarthen.
All had different main courses most were very good but I had Steak and Ale pie which was OK but the gravy was a bit overpowering.
Stayed one night with work, lovely hotel in the centre of town, great food (very nice pie), nice room (spacious, everything you need), friendly service (couldn't do enough for you), would certainly stay here again
