Just had 3 nights here and found the staff very friendly and can't do enough for you. Room extremely comfortable and roomy with a lovely en suite. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Picked up a takeaway one evening and they gave us plates cutlery and serviettes to use. Car park spaces are large but entrance is extremely narrow. Great video on website to show you how to find it. ( recommended ) Only thing that would have made it perfect was if the curtains were better to stop the sun waking uou up at sunrise . Definitely would return.

Room was spotless and looked recently decorated. Fridge was welcome and generous amount of tea/coffee/milk provided. Bed was comfortable, wifi was excellent and puts a well known budget hotel company's "ultimate" wifi to shame. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious, service was fast. Couldn't fault our stay, would very happily visit again.

The hotel is a short walk from the station - be aware the hill up to the hotel is quite short but steep. Once you are there it is a fantastic location to explore Carmarthen on foot. If you are driving there is a secure car park with EV charging points. The staff are really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had to catch an early train on our last day and they suggested we came down early for breakfast (before the official start of the breakfast service) so we could catch our train without rushing. The rooms are very well appointed - we were really impressed with the high end quality of the oak furniture. Extra pillows were available and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The bed was very comfy and we were delighted to find it was a Superking size which was luxurious! There was an iron/ironing board and hair dryer and also a small ‘fridge in the room which meant we had cold bottled water and milk for tea and coffee. Secondary double glazing meant we could hardly hear the road outside the hotel and slept very soundly. All in all we would highly recommend The Spilman hotel.

We stayed in an executive room 18 which is separate from the hotel and it was great lovely big room and bathroom king size bed. The breakfast was super the fried bread was cooked really healthy all food was locally sourced and tasted delicious. The owner Ivo and Sofia could have been nicer and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay again.

The carpark is a funny experience, we were glad to get a space because I'd be disappointed to have squeezed through the gap and not got one. We arrived at 4pm on a Saturday and there was one space remaining. Stayed in a carpark room which was useful as had a baby and managed to park right outside so didn't have to cart stuff very far. Bedroom was huge, was a family room, travel cot was good... shame there was no bath but was only staying one night. Breakfast in the morning very tasty!!!

This was a business trip for me, I stayed two nights and was so impressed. The room was clean and comfortable with a full-size kettle, a great selection of tea coffee and hot chocolate, iron, and ironing board. The bathroom was lovely and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was perfect, I couldn't have asked for me. The service was great, staff were so attentive. I would definitely stay again when visiting Carmarthen.

This is a very nice, comfy hotel. Our room was in a separate building behind the hotel's main building and it was really large (there was another bed). Very comfortable, great breakfast and friendly staff. The only warning I would give is about the carpark's entrance. It is very narrow and accessed from a narrow street which makes turning in quite difficult, at least for me driving a hire car with which I was unfamiliar, but as the public carpark is so close it didn't matter. I will surely stay here again.

Lovely quiant hotel right in the town center, doesn't look much from the outside, but wow you can see they have really thought about the re-decoration and its been done really well. Staff very helpful, breakfast great. All it needs is access to some snacks for late arrivals as no resturant.
