Good size rooms with extra seating to relax.. The food & drink was of a very good standard. Staff very helpful. At dinner the waiter seemed a bit over keen to take our orders for food. He omitted to ask if we would like any drinks whist consulting the menu.

Called with friends, without reservation. Busy establishment but they were more than willing to accommodate us. Friendly staff. Nicely decorated dining room with fresh flowers on each table. Very tasty food. Roasted Carmarthenshire gammon loin with crushed garlic and parsley

This is the second time we have stayed at the Plough Rhosmaen but brought 4 friends with us on this occasion. Our rooms overlooked the fields at the back of the Inn away from the road and very quiet. The railway line about 800 yards away did not affect us at all. The welcome

Dear Stablauhaf, Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a wonderful review. It is always a pleasure to welcome back returning guests and I am happy that you were not disappointed. I have passed your comments on to the Team including the chefs who work so hard to provide a menu designed to accommodate all guests using the locally produced fresh produce which we are so lucky to have on our doorstep. We look forward to welcoming you back to The Plough soon. Kind Regards, Andrew

Good Afternoon, Thank you for your enquiry. We do have a wedding every weekend in July this year, which means that access to the bar, downstairs restaurants and terraces is not available on the day of the wedding. We will serve lunch and dinner in our upstairs restaurant where your drinks will be table served. In answer to your second question, we have some pet friendly rooms on the lower ground floor with patio doors out into the car park and grounds, other than that they are allowed in reception and terrace but not in the bar, lounge and restaurant. Kind Regards, Andrew

Can we bering Iolo - smart, pedigree Scottie, used to high living (and how!)?
Check with Andrew in the Plough, plenty of good walks for both smart pedigree and owners in the area
