We have stayed at Dalesgate Lodge twice since it has been under new ownership. It is a lovely cosy place. Very clean and well decorated. The breakfasts are excellent. It is in easy reach of the lovely town centre of Skipton. Will definitely stay again.

I can not praise Dan & Emma enough for all they did to make our stay as comfortable as possible for me, (I have huge problems with smells they make me so ill) they went above and beyond to remove as many aromas as possible even re washing the bedding and letting us have breakfast in their own private quarters....

Stayed one night at the Dalesgate Lodge last week-end. Dan and Emma were very excellent hosts and most helpful, we had 2 rooms which were modern and superb, both warm and comfortable. Breakfast was well presented and most enjoyable served in the breakfast room. We were allowed to leave the car on their car park to take the short walk...

We stayed for one Saturday Night at the beginning of October. Lovely tidy place kept in good order by Mel. Comfy bed, clean and tidy room and a lovely cooked breakfast on the Sunday morning Only a five minute stroll into Skipton from here too. Own car park which is a bonus. Would recommend to anyone.

Having been let dwn by our original booking, we were directed by Tourist Information to (among others) Dalesgate Lodge who, even a the late time we called, and having just returned from their own holiday, were pleased to be able to accommodate us. Mel, the owner, welcomed us warmly, showed us to our room which was warmly and pleasingly furnished,...

Mel was extremely helpful and accommodating during our stay. We arrived early, and it was no problem to check in at the beginning of the day. The room was very clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we required. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and extremely prompt. We were spending the day in town before returning to Manchester, and didn't want...

We had to cancel a booking at very short notice due to travel problems. The owners were very understanding and seemed more concerned with our problems than an empty room. We were very impressed and would have absolutely no hesitation in making a future booking.

I had to stay unexpectedly in the area due to a tragic family bereavement. I was met by the daughter who was extremely helpful and friendly. After a brief chat about why I was there i was shown a lovely compact room. Although not glamorous, stylish or ultra modern, i found it to be clean, well equipped and very comfortable....
