We were staying on the pub campsite (basic facilities) and have visited the pub several times during our stay. Always made welcome and so do locals. The night we went for a meal was a Friday and they had a party booking already in. We were told a table was available in approx 1/2 hour. After only 15 mins we... More

I'm from the US, 2nd visit in 18 month period, my sister and her family are living in Molesworth, I walked down to the pub several times during my 3 week stay, usually ordering Frances delicious shepherds pie & enjoying a strongbow. Will miss chatting with Frances & Steve, doubt they'll miss me 😉

Excellent real pub on the edge of a beautiful village. We stayed in our caravan for one night on the way home from a festival & had a very warm reception, excellent food, very accommodating & great value for money. Thanks to Fran & Steve from Amanda & Dave Evans.

If you want fancy food go somewhere else, if you want good pub grub at a good price then this is your place! I stayed here for a week during own of my trips to the area. The room was small and nothing special at all, but it had a charming aspect to it that I can't really describe. Plus, I had my own private bathroom so I was happy. I wasn't looking for a fancy posh experience, I was out and about... More

Have just returned from a short stay here, although it is a alright place to stay, whoever cleans the rooms really needs to review what they do! Cobwebs and dust was everywhere, don't think they realise you have to clean behind the tv, radiaters or headboard!. Food was ok although we did ask for medium steak and to say it... More
