The room was very good as was the bed but the 30 degree temperature all jught was unbearable and I did not manage any sleep. The Brewers Fayre next door served good meals and the location is handy being next to the A1

Hotel was very good, lovely quiet room and comfortable bed. Good facilities for the money but the stay was spoilt by the breakfast. I purchased the meal offer of a two course evening meal and a much as you could eat breakfast for £23.99. The evening meal was of good quality but the cooked breakfast consisted of overcooked Sausages, bacon... More

Everything else about our stay would have been fine, friendly reception staff, comfy bed, ok so it's just of a main road junction near a petrol station so a little noisy but that wouldn't have been an issue if it hadn't been so HOT! The windows are restricted to opening a tiny crack and even tho they supply a fan... More

Quite possibly the most uncomfortable stay I've ever had at a Premier Inn. No air conditioning, although this is advertised on the website it seems to be acceptable, when it really isn't. It was incredibly hot in the room (although it was not a particularly hot September night). This is obviously a known problem, being provided with a slightly dirty... More

Stayed here on business. Regretfully I didn't get the famous good night sleep. The room was uncomfortably hot. This is something I am regularly experiencing at this hotel chain. So it's not unique to this one. So Whitbread listen up. Don't reply with the standard cobblers about if I want air con it is clearly displayed on the website. I... More

This is one of the less up to date Premier Inns. The general presentation of the rooms was good but the bathroom fittings and sealants left a lot to be desired. Our evening meal was reasonable but the staff on that occasion were less than efficient and a little down at heel. I asked for gammon with pineapple but received... More

We booked for 2 nights to visit family and ended up in a room (no.132) that had an unbelievable temperature of 28.5 oC (that's with the window cracked open and a large fan in operation!), when we arrived at check-in around 6.30pm. Had it been a very hot day that day? Not really, which remains part of the puzzle for... More

I am currently in room 106 and the time is 01:14am at the premier Inn and to say it is hot is an understatement. I am here with my wife and 8 year old daughter who are both wide awake and sweating due to the fact the room temperature is currently at 30°c. It started at 28°c to which I... More

Our room was clean and airy.I asked for an extra sheet as the weather was very warm and was told that there was already one waiting for us in our room. The staff were really lovely and helpful. The only down side is that it was hard to find. The signs were hidden by trees. On such a large roundabout it was easy... More

Conveniently situated for travellers, a little noisy with the windows being open on a warm night, but this was not really a problem. Reasonable restaurant next door, ample parking, good price, what's more to say?
