Excellent experience dealt with a lady called Pat who ensured that our bags were put in our room because we were early. Room was spotless, comfortable with excellent fixtures great price too- we will be back because of families in the area. Keep up the good work and thank you.

Hotel was brilliant for the price, lovely clean up to date room, tea, coffee, water all in the room. We were so surprised at how modern everything was, the only downside for us was no car park, we had to park five minutes away for over night parking then worried about the car, hubby was up and checking it at 7 am. it was fine just a worry.

I did not stay in the hotel but use this venue regularly for interviewing staff for my business, as it is neutral, central and great value. with the table service we can order drinks and coffees, with very little effort. the staff are always accommodating when i ask for a quite space and are always more than happy to help.

Good food, comfy beds (duvets..meh....but you can ask for synthetic if you dont like the feather ones). Hotel staff are friendly but the bar staff can be a mixed bag (but good on the whole as the friendly ones fill in the gaps left by the straight-faced ones). Only downsides are the parking....there is none - I was working locally on a 7-7 shift so I managed to get a spot on either the high street or just up by the dentist near the train station, and Saturdays can be rather busy with the usual Wetherspoons hubbub assaulting the eardrums. Best bet is to pick a seat and use the Wetherspoons app to order direct to the table. There are other car parks but I havent used them so cannot comment. Definitely recommended - my choice of stay when down for business.

Room very spacious, immaculately clean, huge bathroom kitted out for wheelchair access, friendly staff. An unbeatable combination and Weatherspoon's pub next door. Superb place to stay the night! Cannot be beaten!
