This hotel is a surprise. It’s situated next to the Dobova train station so it’s easy to get there from either Zagreb or Ljubljana. However, outside of the hotel, there is nothing else in Dobova. The hotel itself is nice. Rooms are spacious and overlook the pool area. The pool is heated and features numerous slides. It’s very popular with families. There is also a spa and sauna area there too. Restaurant is good. Breakfast offers a lot of options. Staff were helpful.. If you want to chill out and relax for a few days, this is an excellent choice. However, I wouldn’t go out of my way to go to Dobova. Consider it for a stopover if transiting through on the train.

Staying in this hotel was really nice and relaxing. Rooms are very nice, clean and with modern furniture. Everyone of them have a good-sized balcony. We had self-service breakfast and dinner and food was just delicious! All the staff was very kind and friendly. Prices for wellnes snd spa treatments are reasonable (we had a very nice and relaxing massage) The pool is also really nice and clean, for my opinion the size is perfect (it is not too big). Highlight for us was sauna oasis. I really think that this saunas and everything that is connected with them are the best ones in Slovenia. They are very clean, there are water and tea always available (I just maybe missed fruit), there are so many chairs and nice relaxing beds so everyone can find a place for them. 8 different saunas ensure that everyone can find one for them. I also love FKK pool so you can also swim inside and outside and you don't have to leave sauna oasis. All in all, we had a very relaxing and romantic 3-days stay and we will definetelly come back again soon.

We spent a Valentine Weekend there. We wanted to visit Terme Paradiso for some time, because of their saunas. They are really nice, and they have outdoor FKK pool, so I was able to swim without leaving the saunas. In saunas they offer tee and fruit and they have several sauna programms. Food in hotel was great and we had a feeling that most of it is local. The only minus is that they advertised Valentine buffet dinner that was pretty plain (and steak tartare wasn't good).

A lot of services for A realy reasonable prices. It's worth to make at least one day of relaxing pause, during A trip on Balkan! Also nice for family vacations. Quiet place with very pleasant folk. It is located very near of railway station, so you don't need any of public transports but your muscles. So folk, If you start your trip of Balkan, from the central Europe, by train, bus or car........ STOP at TERME PARADISO. Jernej

Been here with my partner for one weekend, This hotel is a surprise, built between almost nothing around is leterally an oasis for relax! Structure: Very good, close to perfection. All is new and the saunas and swimming pools are really awesome made. To try their swimming pool with natural hot water that they pump from downside natural water source. And who likes it ( Me for sure) they have also one separate sauna and swimming pool for naturist customers (FKK) Personnel: High trained and very professional and gently ! Food: Here you can eat very good- not awesome but very good, it is a hotel rather than five star restaurant! Prices are in the standards, will be back for sure :)

Here in Paradiso We spent wonderful romantic three days. Premium room was perfect, clean and new - with pool view. The staff is very polite. Food at restaurant is really delicious 😋. Wellness and Spa is very nice. Massage for couples was great. If You need a peaceful place, You must try wonderful Saunas for adults only and FKK place at poolside. We definitely recommend this hotel and will come back again.

Location of this Spa is quite odd: in the middle of tipical mideuropean village, nearby state border and on the distance off 100 meters to train station. That's first impresion - and that impresion wanished away in a minute you walk-in that premisses. Al the stuff it is polite and verry proffesional and homy at the same time. Rooms are spatious and in grey colour, which is looking great and lsuprisingly lively. Spa it is not wast, but it suits well all my neads and it is two storeys high and ofers quite nice pverview on premessise surrounding. Food in Spa's restaurant it is localy oriented and offers a big varriety of different dishes. All at all, that weekend it was worthy every penny.

This is a tricky one. On one side you can say "wow" like big rooms, all new, breakfast, staff (not all..) On the other .. The treatments at the paradiso spa center can not be put on the room bill of the paradiso hotel. What?? Really?? Rule.. On the last day you can not use the bathrobe. Another rule. The place is just covered with rules (at the sauna, pool, jacuzzi, restaurant...). So we suppose on the last day of your stay is like, get the hell out and asap. Not good. Not good at all. What else can you do in this place without a robe? When you have one entrance free at the sauna like we did, you enter and there is no one there to give you a hand, beacuse the lady is entertaining herself with the pool lifeguard (and she did not even bother to check if someone is going in). So if we would go out (like we did) 1.we probably could not enter back (only one entrance) 2.we would have to wait for min 15 min before we could even try (rule attached to the wall, second rule by the way, you can not enter the sauna but nude. Ok their house their rule but wtf). So we did not use it at all. You can also use the various baths but they are way to pricy. But the costs of the massagges are more then reasonable so thumb up for this. Further, dinner. First day it was like...like no comment. Fried fish, another fried fish and french fries. Seriously? Four plus stars hotel??? The other days the dinner was excellent. It was served and really very, very good. You can choose between 3 menus. Plus the cook was, I can say the friendliest of the staff (FO included). When we met him(down the hall) .. He is special and cudos to the guy. So at the end.. Again, like dr. Jekyll and mr. Hyde.

Response from TermeParadiso, General Manager at Terme Paradiso
Responded Apr 12, 2018
Dear Sir/Madam, thank you for your oppinion. We try to improve our services all the time, so we are happy that our guests give us feedback. We would like to explain a few things … The treatments in our Wellness centre can not be put on the room, because Wellness centre is an independent company – not the same company as hotel, that is the reason why treatments can not be put on the room. At the Wellness reception this is explained. Our guests are informed that on the last day of their stay they can not use the bathrobes and the towels from the room, but they can get fresh bathrobes and towels (for free) to use the whole day last day at the reception of swimming pools. We hope you will consider staying with us again in the near future. With kind regards, Hotel Management
