I stayed here twice a few years ago and this year. The food was pretty good but Saturn was not. You could feel a cold atmosphere as in it was haunted in the room I was at! Work up countless times scared and hearing voices! Will never visit again

Visited this hotel for lunch. Sandwiches were quite good but the beer on offer was not. Booked for dinner but cancelled as felt the atmosphere was not right for us. Since there were several men in our party and they had not been impressed with the beer then it was not the place for us. Seemed very busy and popular...

Fairly last minute booking by email for a table on a Saturday evening was responded to promptly and encouragingly. Good choice of meals including plenty for vegetarians. Friendly, efficient (bi-lingual) staff. Reasonable prices. The Bars were busy, less so in the restaurant but that suited us. Clean, contemporary décor which worked well in the old building. A positive experience so...

Stopped in here for a bite to eat after a long day of hiking. Beautiful food and staff are very friendly. Will be visiting again when I head back to Powys. If you are in the area pop in, you won't be disappointed.

The wife and I have a 2 year old and a 13 week old and travel from the West Midlands to Barmouth on a regular basis. The route we take takes us past this fantastic place and is roughly halfway so is perfect for the 2 year old to stretch her legs and the 13 week old a good feed....
