Our recent stay at Avant Mar was superb overall. The property and gardens are beautiful with a great location just steps from the marina, restaurants and shops in Naoussa and a small beach with sunbeds and hotel service. All the hotel staff is ever so helpful and friendly. If one were to criticise, the rooms are on the small side but this is topped by the overall atmosphere of the hotel and the staff. A chic boutique hotel without the pretentious attitude of similar properties. I could only wish I was still going! Would definitely return.

We stayed here in a suite with a plunge pool I believe was 42 mtrs square and it was fantastic. From the welcome to departure we were well looked after relaxed service but attention to detail. We found Avant mar the best place we ever stayed in Greece and we have been coming to Greece several times a year as we have Greek family for the last 17 years or so. Thank you so much to the team, super professional and we loved the hotel and the being right on the beach and a short hop to Naoussa, hope to see you again soon. Loved it.

What can I say! We visited this new 5 star hotel, and in particular, the Thyme restaurant, for dinner, to celebrate our anniversary. Everything, I mean everything, was perfect! We were greeted by Vasilis and Kostas, which we thank for making our evening unforgettable. The location is simply superb, and the attention to detail surpasses anything my wife and I have ever experienced. We started with two exquisite cocktails at the poolside, prepared by a very talented Vasilis, to then continue with our dinner, with Kostas providing at all times 10/10 service. I am currently staying at Avant Mar in Paros and I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my experience so far. I had high expectations for a 5-star hotel, but unfortunately, my visit has been far from satisfactory.
Upon arrival, I found the room to be much smaller than anticipated, especially for the price paid. Excessive sunlight enters the room, making it difficult to relax. Many other guests expressed similar concerns during check-in. The breakfast buffet has been another disappointment. Despite arriving before it ended, pastries were not restocked. When I requested another piece, I was told it was the last one. This is unacceptable for a 5-star establishment, especially when the à la carte menu incurs additional fees. Housekeeping services have been inadequate.
We continually have to request basic amenities like water, clean towels, and tissue boxes, which are often left empty until we ask for refills. Additionally, dirty robes were taken and not replaced until I specifically requested them. The lack of security is concerning. There is no security at the entrance, and multiple access points from the road and beach leave the hotel open to non-guests. The beach area is not segregated from the public, allowing non-guests to use hotel facilities such as showers. We also dined at Matsuhisa, which was far from the Nobu Matsuhisa standard. We have dined at Nobu locations worldwide, including recently in Athens. The fish cuts were very thick, the black cod was inedible due to its fishy taste, and the lobster salad had barely any dressing and very little lobster. The bento box was overcooked, with no oozing chocolate inside. When we asked for matcha, we received mugs of green water that tasted like hot water, which was far from real matcha.
Given these issues, I am seriously considering canceling the rest of my 7-night stay in two rooms. However, both rooms are already paid for.

Even though you have been given the room type that you have booked when you brought to our attention that you were unhappy with the size of your room we offered and showed you two different options. We were under the impresssion that you were happy with the solution. Please rest assured that our Hotel has a 24/7 security team on duty to ensure everyone's safety. In fact, I would like to share with you that we never had a single incident related with Safety and this is the first time who someone raised a safety concern. In Greece there is no private beach by law, every citizen or visitor is entitled to access and enjoy all the Greek Beaches. Non- guests are paying to use our sunbeds, and they are entitled to use some of our facilities. All non-guests have been respectful and mindful of our guests. Reference now the Housekeeping and the Food and Beverage Services we can assure you that our Housekeeping Manager personally oversees the cleanliness of your bedroom. There are extra towels, bathrobes and tissue paper every single day for you. We understand from the Matsuhisa Restaurant Manager that you left happy from the Restaurant the night you dined. Reference now, your comment about the buffet our team members talked to you when you requested extra spinach pie and explained to you that it would take approximately 30 minutes to bake, as it’s freshly prepared to ensure the best quality. Please keep in mind that when "Do Not Disturb" sign is on, our team is unable to enter your room to provide services such as refilling water and we mentioned before to you we are here 24/7 to serve and fulfil your needs. While we understand that individual experiences may vary, we have received many positive comments from our guests who have enjoyed our facilities and services. I paid a premium price for a sea view and all i saw were cars and buildings for an astronomical price. I was so disappointed and even thought there were other rooms at lesser prices to switch to(because no sea view) the wouldnt refund me and change my room. Rooms were tiny and no view not worth the money.

If I could give the Avant Mar hotel and staff a 10 star rating I would. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel extremely welcomed and special. The hotel is absolutely stunning. We were surprised to be informed that we had been upgraded to an executive suite with plunge pool. My daughter and I were over the moon excited and happy. The suite was spacious, beautiful, and comfortable with many wonderful amenities and added touches. We loved our outdoor patio and garden. The plunge pool was large and set at the perfect temperature, which felt like our own private oasis. The staff were amazing and attentive to our every need. They went above and beyond to help me when I discovered we had left our passports behind at our previous hotel in Naxos. Anna and Alexandra's help was so appreciated in that moment of fear and desperation. I only wish that we could have stayed longer than 3 nights, but we will always remember our time in Paros and our stay at Avant Mar.

My wife and I are here as I write this. We have friends and family all around Paros for a wedding weekend. Avant Mar is a new hotel on the island and it immediately shot to the top of the list of places to stay on the island. With unmatchable amenities for being walking distance to the old port, we wouldn’t settle for anywhere else. From the moment we arrived it was clear that the service was impeccable. The large pool, private beach access, on site restaurant, sweet shop and jewelry store, Avant Mar has everything you need and more. Come to Paros and come to Avant Mar. You won’t be disappointed. The pool and surrounding facilities are superb Located near the beach with ample poolside lounges Restaurant is Superb A Nobu experience in Greece Then we get to the accommodation The room they give us over €1000 a night is 27 m² Absolutely no storage space whatsoever The one drawer that there is in the cupboard is 6 cm in depth so fits nothing Fridge is 15 cm deep so will not fit anything besides one bottle The TV is a mirror that is very hard to look at because it’s so faded and not bright The bathroom is so tiny you have to close the door to fit inside so you can enter the shower The shower flooded three times flooding the actual hallway of the unit The toilet broke and was hanging off the wall by one bolt To the hotels credit, they gave us a spare room during the Repairs but it’s not ideal
We complained about our room having a walkway dead in front of the front door which was glass and allowed everyone to look in They offered us an upgrade at 300e extra a night for a room on the second floor Same 27m2 but with no people walking past PASS

Extremely well located (only a short walking distance away from the Naousa). The rooms are nicely decorated and contain everything. Befitting for its geographical location and nature, the hotel blends in with its surroundings. The staff is extremely helpful, kind and accommodating. No extras are too much. Personal attention is given by the excellent hotel manager who makes her rounds at any given hour of the day. I can highly recommend this property.

Lovely hotel and location is amazing. The staff are incredible warm and welcoming. It’s a small and intimate hotel so you never feel crowded and the beach being steps away is a huge perk.
The pool and plunge pools are a bit chilly so wait for them to warm in the sun before hopping in. We didn’t make time for the wellness pool this trip but it’s a stunning build.
We missed matsuhisa but were able to walk to town easily each night and find many beautiful restaurants.
The attention to detail and impeccable service here really stood out. The rest of our trip was at the Milos in Athens and the four seasons on the Rivera so the bar is high and Avant Mar rose to the occasion. Our warmest thank you to staff for making our time so memorable.
