Loved the hotel! The only downside would be the beach area. It is not great for swimming due to the stinging urchins on the restaurant side and the garbage in the water on the dock side. Also, BE PREPARED for mosquitos!!! It is an outdoor experience and as such, you have numerous flies and mosquitos. They don't bother me much...

Selamat Pagi dear Katherine Z, Thanks very much for sharing time here with us and sending this lovely feedback. We are happy you enjoyed your stay, despite of the seasonal garbage problem (always during rainy season everywhere in Bali) and the Mosquitos. Dengue exists in Bali, however, the recent outbreak took place in the area of Ubud and the South…but...

We stayed there for two nights and were really sorry we didn't book longer. The Menjangan is quite far from the airport but if you're looking for a stay away from the buzzing Bali, nature and quiet, this is the place. It is located in the Nature Reserve, surrounded by woods were you'll see deers, monkeys, all kind of animals...

Selamat Pagi dear Luve_Luxe, …yes, we were sorry too! It would have been so nice if you could have stayed a bit longer. Happy to hear that you loved « the Beach House », we actually call them the Beach Villas, as well as you did the Beach itself. As you can see further down reading through other reviews, some...

Everything was just perfect, from the facilities, to the food and then there's the beautiful accommodating staff. From the minute we arrived we felt relax and spoilt. A must when travelling up north in Bali!

We came to Menjangan for a few days of diving. We stayed at the Menjangan resort which is located inside the national park. We were very happy to find that we were upgraded to the beach villa at check in. The room was spacious, nice little patio and the bath/shower area outdoor was amazing. There were mainly 2 restaurants, one...

We enjoyed relaxing in this jungle lodge, surrounded by the sights and sounds of birds, geckos, wild chickens, deer, and monkeys all around. This is the only resort built inside the West Bali National Park (although a new one, Plataran, will be opening soon) and therefore you are really isolated from everything, which could be good or bad, depending on...

Selamat Siang dear dcdgjd, First of all, thank you very much for experiencing the Menjangan and taking the long trip up here. We very much appreciate your comments and the time dedicated to share your impressions with the traveler community. Completely agree, this is NO Beach Resort, at least not for these people who expects large sandy beaches (there is...

We have stayed at this resort at the Monsoon Lodge twice and will definately come back! The kids LOVE this place! Beautiful scenaries, wide variety of activities, and super awesome staff with extraordinary hospitality. Taman Nasional Bali Barat offers beautiful sceneries and forest experience, we spotted animals such as the gecko, deers, monkeys, owls and other birds. In the morning,...

First class accomodation right in the middle of unspoilt nature. The minute you turn from the main road into the entrance, you'll be surrounded by nature. Greeted by monkeys and biawaks (big lizard similar to Goanna or Perrenti in Australia's Top End), then you reached the soaring Bali Tower. First it's the welcoming staff with refreshments, and then they informed...

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend on our honeymoon (mostly for the snorkeling, which was amazing!). It was very secluded and VERY spread out (you need a transport between different places in the resort, which were readily available so don't worry about that). We went in november 2015 which was exceptionally dry, so most of the landscape...
