One of the best vacation experience we've ever had! Excellent service and room facilities PLUS the magnificent calming view. Châpeau to the hotel crews who have made our stay extraordinarily enjoyable! Super friendly people, helpful & professional. Big Thankssss. Also, this place has a lot to explore. From the sea to the national park. This place has a lot to offer! And it stays quiet at night 😉 Will definitely miss & come back to this place.

We stayed in The Residence in The Menjangan for 4 nights in early Oct 2020. Our kids and us enjoyed it so much. The hospitality of the team by Ingo Graf was excellent. We did snorkeling, horse riding, cycling, and dolphin watching. This certainly one of our best holiday in Bali.

Pros: Service is good Food is nice Cons: Slightly pricey for the portion Access to the restaurant is VERY BAD (half an hour to 45 min on rocky road) Too dim for dinner Lots of mosquitoes the bar between the restaurant and the sea is only 2 ropes away and its just too dangerous for kids especially at night

Dear Vionatasha, thanks for your feedback. We are happy to see you appreciate the services at the restaurant as well as the food quality. And dining on a deck above the sea is certainly something amazing to do. At the same time is our location inside the national park quite stunning for wonderful experiences to take home. Our roads are not completely made with asphalt and partially are with stones/rocks. It is the goal of the national park itself to remain as natural as possible with our resort operation on side. Our impact on nature is regulated through certain guidelines and some of those are road constructions as well as lighting around the area. I would be very happy to share this in detail with you and explain further on your next visit. This also includes a treatment for insects and pests inside the national park, as classic fogging or similar is prohibited to protect nature and wildlife. In the end we are all guests inside the park and our hosts are the animals you will find during your visit. And this unspoiled environment will add to a natures' lover experience. We hope you support our duty to protect the wildlife, flora and fauna wherever we can and to minimize human impact on the environment and the living conditions. Looking forward to welcome you back and thanks a lot. Ingo & The Menjangan Family Operations Manager

A scenery trip from Kuta led me to Menjangan Resort, West Bali nestled in the National Park. It was the most relaxing and memorable trip since a long time with some amazing views from the beach villa. The villa had all the comfort you can wish for including coffee & tea facilities, cookie jar, welcome fruit and some beautiful natural soaps and lotions. After a long day tracking with the complimentary mountain bikes the huge outdoor bath tube was the ideal way to recharge for pre dinner cocktails and dinner at their beach side restaurant. The food was excellent with some great choices and very reasonably priced. They have a bird sanctuary with some exotic birds and plenty of deers around even in front of the villa. Unfortunately we did not have enough time for a snorkeling trip but will keep that in mind for my next visit. Thanks to all, especially Jose and Ingo not to forget Gelgel who was always there when we needed him. All the staff were helpful and friendly and can tell you anything you need to know to explore the park. I suggest you book direct with the resort as I did giving you the best deal. See you again.

We all are very happy to see you had a memorable stay with us and a great escape from the hassle of daily life, or the challenges of the current situation. Our location inside the National Park is unique and creates plenty of memorable experiences to take home. And they create desires to come back to our hidden gem soon. The wildlife in front of the villas can be amazing and it just gives you an opportunity to truly enjoy some amazing sceneries while relaxing on the beach; some deer's might join as you could imagine. We are also happy to share your feedback on the services and offerings provided and are very happy to know you thoroughly enjoyed our property. We hope to welcome you back soon for another great stay and maybe then a wonderful snorkeling trip to Menjangan Island for another experiences with us. Ingo & The Menjangan Family Operations Manager

During the first week of September 2020, we did a road trip from Jakarta, through Java, to Bali and made it all the way within a 15-hour-drive! In this covid-19 era, everything was closing early so we couldn’t find any restaurants that would be open for dinner when we got into Bali. We called The Menjangan when we were on the ferry crossing from Banyuwangi (East Java) to Gilimanuk (Bali) asking if they could have a simple dinner prepared for us when we checked in. It was late night around 10:30 pm when we arrived at the hotel. We were very pleasantly surprised!! Upon checking in, not only they still served us chilled face-towels, fresh spring rolls, and ginger tea (funny I thought the spring rolls were our dinner I was about to run back to the car and bring out the left-over bread we brought from Jakarta! haha…), but they actually took us to Pantai Restaurant, their restaurant by the beach, and had the full menu available for us to order from! The food was fantastic! The service was amazing! And the staff was friendly! Around midnight we were taken to our rooms at the Monsoon lodge which are located in the middle of the West Bali National Park. The Menjangan resort is so spread apart. From the restaurant beach area to our lodge was about a 15-minute drive on the hotel's safari-style open van. We booked two suites. My suite was very nice and spacious! King-size bed, sitting area with TV, dining table and kitchenette, and the bathroom down the hall. You feel that you are well away from the buzzling of Bali. But then again, in these covid-19 times, Bali was quiet. In fact, it was sadly too quiet. There were no other guests around. So we moved to The Menjangan villas on the beach for the 2nd nite. Wowwwww!! The beach villas are spacious, luxurious, comfortable, well-kept and located literally right on the beach. When I walked on the beach with my niece, we saw a family who was staying at the more exclusive Plataran resort. They said they had been eye-ing the villas on the beach and wondering if we were staying there. I said yes and definitely I can highly recommend! As we just came back from breakfast, besides recommending staying at The Menjangan beach villas, I also could not stop talking about their breakfast! It was included in the room rate but it was not buffet style. You ordered off the menu, basically anything you want. So it was freshly made, very high quality and plentiful. hmmm.. me and my food! haha.. The Menjangan is truly a beautiful and special place. At the Monsoon lodge the rooms surround a nice big pool in the middle of nature. At the beach villas you can see (surprisingly well-behaving) monkeys just frolicking around, and many deer roaming around the villas and crossing the beach as they walk into the sea. The people at the hotel were nice and the service was fantastic. Importantly to take note, covid-19 safety protocols were strictly in place, so we felt quite safe staying here during these unprecedented times.

Dear Mrs. Maura-SoeparjadiKwik, Thank you for such detailed and positive review. We all are extremely happy that you enjoyed your recent escape at The Menjangan. Its location within the West Bali National Park certainly creates plenty of memorable experiences and wonderful stories to take home and share amongst family and friends. Just seeing the amazing wildlife rooming freely around and at your doorstep already is a treat for anyone to discover. I am sure this was something wonderful to have around the Beach Villas, where there is always an opportunity to see animals at various times of the day, be it a menjangan family grazing or a cheeky monkey searching for some bites. It is as well with great pleasure to read you felt safe during this pandemic and noticed our well implemented Covid protocols to ensure guests’ well-being while staying with us. Thank you so much for your compliments on breakfast, beach villas and for kindly conveyed your experience with even guests staying nearby. It was indeed a pleasure having you all with us and would like to thank you on your constructive feedback you kindly shared with me aiming to bring our services to the next level. We can assure you that we have already certain adjustments to enhance actual product offering …. Look forward to welcoming you back for another little break.
