Lazy Hostel is located right on the Malecon, across the street from the Caribbean and within easy walking distance to Sun Bay, Coconut Beach and Black Sand Beach. Swim out to Cayo Afuera, snorkel the large pier, build a bonfire, hike trails on Cayo de Tierra, or meet friends at one of many bars and restaurants in Esperanza. Lazy Jacks, our attached bar and restaurant, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and is at the center of island night life for locals and tourists alike. Lazy Hostel has mixed dorm rooms, female only dorm, private rooms with shared bathrooms, and Guesthouse rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Guests are welcome to cook or store food in our kitchen where a complimentary basic breakfast is available 8-11am. Hang out with other guests on the large back porch perfect for communal meals. The Lazy Hostel offers basic, clean, comfortable, affordable accommodations for travelers who want to spend their days and their budgets exploring the island and meeting fellow travelers

Couple of caveats: - If you absolutely need locks on the door, ask before reserving. We booked a common room for ourselves and had no way of closing our door with a key. FD did provide us with a lock for lockers for a deposit but I had no way of keeping other valuables there as
