We had a wonderful stay at Château de Blomac. It’s incredibly beautiful, super clean and the owners Jacqueline and Fred are charming. We felt so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We had evening meals and the food was second to none. The tapas evening in particular was one of the best we have eaten. There’s also a lovely little bar by the pool. We also had a picnic lunch which was similarly fantastic and came with champagne and the best white chocolate dessert we have tasted. We have two little girls and recommend this place very highly for anyone with young children. It’s safe and children are made to feel very welcome. We were also able to order them an earlier dinner (thank you Jacqueline). There’s a wonderful playground with swings and climbing frame too and fish in the pond. Thank you so, so much Jacqueline and Fred. We will be back :)

We travelled as two couples for a 4 night break in mid-September. After studying the website and reading all the reviews Chateau de Blomac was everything we hoped for, but also somehow managed to exceed our expectations. Such warm, friendly hospitality but total professionalism is a real find. The accommodation, surroundings and food are top quality made all the more special by the warmth and feel of staying in a real home. No wonder many guests return and we certainly hope to do so too.

Thank you so much to Jacqueline and her family for our wonderful holidays at Chateau de Blomac. The castle and its surroundings are beautiful! We had a family suite, which was very nice and spacious. We really enjoyed our dinners there, food was all homemade and delicious. We can't wait to go back!

I never want to go back to the same place twice but I can seriously say that Jacqueline and Fred and family have given me cause to want to! What an incredible place - we booked the Chateau as we wanted to visit Carcasonne and have a few days in the area. But we will be returning for a number of reasons.....we have never felt so at ease and so welcomed and part of a family. The rooms are lovely, the grounds gorgeous and it really does feel like there is an open home. Dinners can be booked - everyone sits at the large family table (outside in summer) so it is social and interesting. Four courses, free flowing wine, really good value and such fun. Our son sat with all the children of many nationalities and had lots of fun. Definitely a place for one to relax and lots to see in the area. Thank you Fred, Jacqueline & Stewart!

We stayed few nights at this charming chateau. The place is wonderful in all aspects. The chateau itself has an "old world" feel to it however it has all the modern features one might require. The location is excellent, just a short drive from Carcassonne Airport. Settled among the wine yards in a small, charming village of Blomac. The park land as well as the gardens are very well kept. A lot of lovely lavender and irises are to be spotted along the pathways. The swimming pool was very nice as well. Well maintained. There are plenty of sun chairs around to relax during the day or in the evening time. We had the opportunity to dine at the chateau as well. The food and wine were just delicious and very tastefully presented. We enjoyed the evening meals a lot. They were served outside, on a large taras /patio area with a wonderful vista overlooking the park and gardens. The room we had was very, very specious and it had a modern, large size bathroom. It was very comfortable. Breakfast was served on the patio as well but there was an option to have it inside. Given that the weather was very sunny, we enjoyed ours outdoors everyday. The quality of food was premium. Lovely, fresh local products and very tasty bread! We enjoyed our stay tremendously and only wished that we could stay longer to enjoy the atmosphere of this charming chateau. The service we had received was outstanding from the minute we had arrived. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing time and a good quality of food/wine. We would definitely stay at this chateau again and we are looking forward to it very much indeed. Big thank you to the owners for making our stay so memorable. Kind regards P & B
