We have recently reopened and are under new management!! After a huge renovation and restyling of the whole building, we are once again open for business, providing rooms, food and beverages to locals and visitors alike. Nestled down 'Old Bridge Street' overlooking the river and Cathedral, The Barley Sheaf is one of Truro's oldest pubs established in 1819. The Barley Sheaf is a pub with real character that offers a riverside terrace, open fire for the cooler evenings with spacious and modern rooms above. The Barley Sheaf loves its 'Ales', ice cold Heineken and holds several locally created sprits with an exciting menu of great fresh food to satisfy.

The Barley Sheaf is in a great location close to the Cathedral. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and freshly decorated with modern bathrooms. The breakfast was a traditional English breakfast with views towards the Cathedral.
