Very nice comfortable rooms and spacious but very expensive as breakfast wasn’t included and had to pay an extra £9 which I wasn’t that impressed with that wasn’t worth the money but staff are very friendly and helpful

My first visit to the County Arms was last night, and I’ll definitely be back. Lovely choice of food, and Carvery was really cheap. I also had a bannoffee gateau and cream which was lovely, I’ll be back soon 😄

We can often be found here enjoying the great food and service. We have the carvery regularly and it’s always been delicious, we have also had mains, starters and desserts from the main menu and we have always really enjoyed our food. The chocolate fudge sharer is a must ! Great

Truro is in the middle of the peninsula of Cornwall so the nearest coast is probably 7 to 10 miles away. However the County Arms is a 20 to 30 minute walk to the centre of Truro. The best option and the one we employed when going into Truro is the local bus, we found it to be both frequent and on time and the bus stop is basically just outside the hotel.
