Going to a function in Threemilestone and decided at the last minute that better to stay the night in the village, as a bit of a drive home. Googled, and this pub was the only accommodation in the village which came up, so booked B&B (£50.00). Not in a very attractive location, but the interior is nice and welcoming. The...

We went on the off chance we would get a table, we was relieved they could fit us in at the lunch time was ending. Service was great and the carvery was good fantastic beef and a good variety and portion of vegetables all at a reasonable price.

I visit The Vic quite frequently and when my son and daughter-in-law were staying over the Christmas period it was a "must-do". We all usually go for the superb carvery but after Christmas we had all had too many roasts. The menu is extensive and there should be something that suits everyone. Helpings are generous and prices are reasonable. The...

Lovely large, spotlessly clean room. Just a shame that access was outside, past the kitchen and up a metal staircase, far from ideal in the cold and wet and a very rude awakening when going for breakfast. Food was good but despite having a gluten free menu and being notified that some of our party were gluten free choice for...

Went as a Christmas Party of 28 and all orders had been pre-booked to save delays. I had ordered a Goats Cheese and Red Onion Tart as a starter. When it arrived on a very large plate I saw a tart the size of a very small jam tart in one corner, a few salad leaves in another corner and...

The Victoria Inn is just outside Truro in the village of Threemilestone about 2 miles from the main A30 and near to the Royal Cornwall Hospital. I went there at the recommendation of one of our friends and was absolutely surprised at the space inside and the interior decor was superb and the whole place was scrupulously clean. There was...

I go to Victoria inn on a fairly regular basis, and usually it is very good. Tonight we went for my sons birthday, and the food was terrible, probably the worst I have ever had in a restaurant. Even before I tasted my pasta, the smell made me feel sick. When I tasted it I thought I was going to...

Oh my days. Having heard the reviews of this place, me and my fiancee decided to pay a visit. I can only describe the carvery as..... Well..... Quite possibly a carnivores delight. If you are a tree hugging vegan, avoid. The potatoes are clearly roasted in either goose fat or dripping. Or even both! The selection of meats roasted to...

The accommodation is situated up one flight of stairs, on the first floor (no lift) above the bar and restaurant. I was given a very comfortable family room which had a double and a single bed and an ensuite shower room. The food in the restaurant is excellent and even on a Monday or Tuesday evening in November it gets...
