The pros - very welcoming staff, good breakfast but for us there were three big cons in room 15 which is a family room: - the shower is poor. The pressure and the fact that it runs hot and cold made showering difficult to the point that it slightly scalded one of my groups wrists. - on arrival, the room... More

The stay at this guest house was pleasant the staff where excellent, they all where very helpful polite and courteous. The only one small downfall was that the shower went hot and cold constantly, but all in all I would have no problem in recommending this guest house.

Stayed one night in room 5, single room - top of the house. Room was clean and the electric shower was excellent: good power wash indeed. The room had a fridge and heater if needed, the TV on the wall was handy and maneuverable. The only thing was the wind hissing through the pull-up window making the room drafty, as... More

Overall my stay was good. Early check in. Very welcoming. I had two problems. Room being too hot as you wasn't able to open the window and the shower runs out hot/cold water and not the constant hot water as I would of wanted. This can hopefully get resolved. Room 9.

What a lovely find we had a year ago! This is our second visit and would keep on coming. We will be booking room 1 again for our next visit. The room is massive and the bath is HUGE! The hotel is a great location - Truro, Penzance, Falmouth, Bodmin, Padstow and Mevagissy! Wonderful spacious rooms with a great breakfast.... More

I had an appointment at Truro hospital and needed a place to sleep. It was a last minute booking so had a double room which did not work out cheap for one person but for two would be well worth it, it was nice and comfortable not as clean as i would like to but acceptable. The owner was very... More

Stayed here the night before Glastonbury, while traveling solo. They made me feel very welcome & even upgraded me to a double room, as they knew I would have a heavy week ahead of me. Very sweet couple & friendly staff in the morning. Would highly recommended.

Stayed here on a two night stay, A lady with learning disabilities accompanied me, Unfortunately she made a bit of a mess, the owners were very understanding about this for which I am very greatful. The only downfall with this B&B is the steps to the bedrooms are very steep, so not recomended for people with mobility problems

we stayed here as we were watching a concert in the hall for cornwall,on entering we were greeted by the landlady who showed us around and then to our room,we were surprised how spacious the room was with little touches like a fridge etc, they really have thought long and hard so guests have everything to hand,we slept really well as... Very pleasantly surprised by the spacious room. Although our stay was for one night only we were made very welcome and had an excellent night's sleep. It was very comfortable and we had an excellent and hearty breakfast the next morning. Unfortunately, we did not have time to linger around Truro but it was very inviting and we would love... More
