I really cannot recommend this hotel and it's staff highly enough. The hotel itself was beautiful, the grounds were immaculate, the sporting facilities were incredible, the rooms were beautiful, the beach was lovely and the staff were the best I've ever encountered! Although I cannot fault a single member of staff, I have to make a special mention of two of the entertainment team i.e Pla and Nat. Their overall level of enthusiasm, the happiness they generated for their guests and the genuine care and concern they showed for me and my family was literally a humbling experience. They went above and beyond anything i would have ever expected, including giving my son Muay Thai lessons and I would like to say a special thank you to them both for making our trip to Graceland such a special one!…
We booked this hotel as part of our package. We were disappointed as soon as we arrived. The outside of the hotel was unkept and was not at all well looked after. When we entered the lobby, there was building work going on. Check in was relatively easy and the room was okay. We walked around to get our bearings and realised that it was virtually empty. Hardly any guests, but what was more concerning was the state of the hotel. It was even worse than when we arrived. Decking was broken or had holes in it, parts of the roof where broken (the cement part) and no hazard sign up. Planks of wood where missing and the upkeep of the grounds was extremely poor. Stagnant water which attracked loads of mosquitoes. It should have 4 restaurants but only 1 was open. We complained and the front of house manager took photos of our photos and said that she would look into it! We left after 1 night.…
Driving up to the hotel it looks neglected and shabby. In the reception there was repair work in progress with drilling and hammering involving scaffolding. Once checked in the rooms were ok but looked a bit tired in places however the blocks of the rooms had bare concrete floors and lifts that have seen better days ! It is low season but only one restaurant was open and it looked like a canteen and last orders at the bar was 10.30! The worst was yet to come. The grounds and buildings were in need of major attention, health and safety issues were aplenty, rotten decking, lifting planks, rusty metal , stagnant water ……. The place looks like it has been abandoned. Needless to say we found alternative accommodation, no way we could stay !
The hotel is beautiful and the staff very attentive We were upgraded to a pool villa which is lovely with our own plunge pool and jacuzzi. We thought this was because it’s our 25th wedding anniversary but we realised this is because there is only a handful of people and it saves running the main apartment blocks The service is excellent but we feel for the staff who must be a little bored with so few guests There are places that could do with a bit of maintenance but on the whole it is well presented. The only real issue is as it’s so quiet the main restaurant is t open and some activities aren’t on like the Thai Boxing and Tai Chi
A very nice Hotel at the nice Bangsaak beach. We had a pool villa which was really nice, clean with safe box a big big bed, Whirlpool tube , big shower and of course big flat screen TV. Small nice veranda very good to chill. The hotel staff was extraordinary friendly! The Fitness gym is equipped good enough. The small minus was the first day breakfast (limited offers due to less hotel visitors) but thanks god they changed it on the second day and offered a breakfast buffet which was delicious 😋
Great hotel. Brilliant staff. Lovely rooms. We had a swim up room which was excellent. The hotel has really good facilities, especially for families, including archery, tennis, bowling and more. It is situated on the most beautiful beach. Water sports including kayaks, paddleboards and bodyboards are all free. The hotel restaurant and room service is really good value. Drinks are more expensive though. Some nice restaurants on the beach including Green Restaurant and Bangsak Kitchen and one near the mini market outside the entrance to the hotel. Double Tree Kitchen - lovely food. It also has a little cafe serving nice coffee, shakes and juices. Massages on the beach are great. The spa at the hotel is also such good value with really nice staff. We tried the aromatherapy massage, Thai massage and milk bath. All so nice! Special mention to Sal who is really friendly and got us involved in the Songkran celebrations - Thai New Year. The only thing to note is the hotel is a bit out from the main town but there are taxis outside the hotel and a shuttle from the hotel on Saturdays which goes to Bang Niang Market which is definitely worth a visit. Nice cocktails and street food.…
Had a fantastic holiday at this beautiful hotel. Only downside was its a bit far out from bang niang Market area and khao lak centre when you need a bit more life ie restaurants and bars. But , the area the hotel is in is beautiful and there are signs that beach restaurants are re opening which will make it a perfect destination. Thanks Graceland and its lovely staff for making our holiday a great one. Would recommend swim up rooms as an extra bit of luxury.
You are not feeling welcomed as single traveler, no explanation at check-in neither any questions at Check-out. No supervising management active, had to call 3 time as they forgot to make my room. But worst of all, plenty of safety hazards all around the place, no maintenance, open electrical connections in and at the pool, broken parts of the pool where you definitely get hurt some stage, see pictures
Just back from a 2 week stay and cannot praise this hotel enough. Times are tough in Thailand but Graceland are doing everything they can to make a stay with them as good as it could possibly be. All the staff are a credit to the hotel. Regardless of what job they do, or what time of day it is, there is always a smile and a happy greeting to be had. Location is perfect for a superb beach and also other facilities (shop, massages, taxis, etc) and plenty of restaurants off site (both on and off the beach). Food in the hotel is top notch and priced very well. Lots of on site facilities with tennis and badminton under cover, excellent gym, bowling alley, and lots more. We had a swim up room which is large and well maintained and all the pools are clean and inviting. Sadly for them very few guests at present, but that was a bonus for us as we like it quite. Build up to Songkran was happening as we left, so lots of Thai nationals checking in for the festivities which we sadly missed. We couldn't recommend this hotel enough and will be happy to return.…
Really nice hotel with great swimming pool. Although no deep end it’s 120cm through out but is massive. Good for the kids. The hotel backs onto beach which is amazing. Perfect sand. Water activities are free. Rooms were nice and staff are friendly. Only issue is it’s not near the main town. About 10 miles away. But we hired a car and there are taxis parked outside. Sal who works for the hotel is really friendly and helpful with the kids and beach activities
