First of all i have to thank you your staff that take action on my issue leaking water from the A/C Front Desk staff,house keeping team and engineer team. I had read previous reviews and I always try to read between the lines a little. I had already paid and thought how bad can it be. Well to say bad doesn't sum it up. Firstly the hotel is empty so i thought maybe I would get a decent room. Wrong. Stuck up the back the only view being of burnt grass. I ventured down to the beach for a well deserved drink and in the bar I counted 8 staff not doing much. However none had the courtesy to come and see what I wanted. I had to wave which I hate doing, I then had a basic menu placed in front with no smile in the land of smiles. No one spoke English which is fine but also had no common sense. Eventually someone came and took my order. About 3 Thai choices and the rest was deep fried rubbish. I ordered and when it arrived it was uncooked and no resemblance of what I had ordered. I sent it back and ordered a phad Thai which was ok but nothing special. I then stayed in my room as I wasn’t going to risk dinner. Day two I was hungry. Breakfast was just as rubbish with the staff not even acknowledging me and I requested scrambled eggs. It filled a hole which is all I can say. Food quality is rubbish restaurant decor unfinished. I decided to go to the pool which I will say is magnificent and being the only one there was now a bonus. However with 8 staff doing nothing in the bar common sense says go and service the guests all 5 of them. I had to go to the bar myself to get a very overpriced drink again with not so much as a smile. Again I stayed in my room with nothing to eat. This morning I arrived at breakfast with no buffet just a basic sheet to order from. Then no one understands what I want and it all comes out on separate plates and cold. I was going to stay today and enjoy the pool but I can’t wait to leave. I appreciate the hotel is very quiet but this is when the service should be impeccable in a billed 5 star resort. They called me in the room to ask what time I would be checking out. What a joke there can only be 12 people in the whole hotel. No drinks in the mini bar. Usually I’m easily pleased and a good bar and a good breakfast is all it needs I don’t really worry about the rest but this is an absolute joke of a hotel which could be stunning. If you have booked then I would say cancel immediately. I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy. I will check out pay my bill because otherwise I will be at fault and never grace the drive to this hotel again. I feel devastated for anyone coming here.

We came to Le Menara at the beginning of February 2020 with high expectations and a lot of anticipation and moved into the beautiful beach house on the left front by the sea (101). However, the disappointment was enormous when we found out: 1. Bravo Club all inclusive for Italian and French guests. (No reference to this on the Le Menara website.) The animation took place almost around the clock in front of our exclusive ‘honeymoon beach house’ which was advertised as absolutely quiet. The absolute catastrophe and to sleep before 1:00 am was unthinkable due to the all-round sound in the ultra-high decibel range. So not what you imagine for a quiet vacation. 2. Likewise, there was no fish restaurant, not even one a la carte restaurant, both of which were advertised on the website. The Bravo Club concept has led the structure of the resort to absurdity and as an individual guest you feel tolerated, but not welcome. Important are 'all inclusive' guests who reserve their loungers with towels at 7 a.m. (didn't know there was anything like that), who storm the breakfast buffet as if there was no tomorrow and who generally, including the arrogant animateurs, give the impression they own the hotel. 3. Under our pillow we found 3 rat dumplings and after we had reported this to the hotel management, the animal excrement we collected was received, but unfortunately the bedding was not changed. When we removed the sheet ourselves, we discovered 2 more 'legacies'. We already complained during check-in on arrival and then on the first evening after finding the contaminants in bed, about the a.m. points and asked to speak to the hotel management. This conversation took place, they apologized, but showed little determination to reimburse us for the hotel costs after we threatened to leave. This would be extremely complicated since we had booked through booking.com and they would not know whether booking.com would refund the money. As a hotel, they would have no influence on this. Since the amount involved was significant, we didn't want to take any further risk. We also found our house, the pool and the beach really great (except for the dirty bed linen). Primarily, but also because we really didn't want to take the stress and invest valuable vacation time to research and move to a new accommodation, we agreed on a compromise. We were paid one or the other taxi transfer to nearby restaurants (estimated ridiculous only 50-80 EUR). Unfortunately, we received no response, either verbally or in writing, to our renewed complaint (by email) a day later because the bed linen had not been changed. We are from the travel industry and can understand the reasons for the new concept (Thomas Cook bankruptcy and resulting cancellations). However, we cannot understand the fact that the hotel management does not disclose this new concept to individual travelers. Neither guests with an existing booking (we had booked before December 15, 2019, Bravo Cub came on December 15, 2019) will be informed about this new concept, nor will their own Le Menara Internet pages be updated accordingly. This has not happened until now (February 27, 2020). The Hotel Management must inform individual travelers in advance and offer the possibility of a free cancellation. You feel cheated and booking.com should seriously consider whether it would still offer such a Hotel resort on its pages. Recreation seekers spend a lot of money for the resort and are cheated. Never again!!!!!

We came here to meet our friends and we have been so disappointed. This is not a 5 star resort!!! There is no one staying here!! A large 120 metre pool but no one using it!! No atmosphere feels soulless. Breakfast was very poor. Staff unhelpful. Asked for a late checkout 3pm instead of 12pm, baring in mind no one is here, at breakfast if there was 7 people it was crowded they wanted to charge 1300thb Terrible location, miles from anything. We have had a month in Thailand and this was the worst hotel we have stayed in!!!😡

Never order Le Menara ! There are so many hotell to choose, with serviceminded people ! 27 km to Khao Lak, 1000 bath t/r . Too far. They were very helpful only to the italian turists ! Mosquitos in the rooms, I don’t like, they bite me, I need to farmasi☹️

We had a great family stay, but the children ran out of things to do after 4-days. Would benefit from a children’s slide or a playground somewhere in the grounds. Fantastic for those wanting to relax and not do much.

This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel. The entertainment group bravo only cares about the Italians and only speaks Italian and they were not polite to the others. They play music at the beach with sexual messages. It’s a family hotel!! I would do this with her in her ... etc. they also play a lot of Italian music. When we came to the hotel there was no slippers and housecoat in the room. The minibar was empty. They didn’t care about this for the whole week. I went to the bathroom in the beach restaurant. They didn’t have any soap. According to the bartender they don’t use soap in Thailand. They had a kitchen just beside and even they didn’t have any soap. I did never eat there after that. The breakfast was not the best. At 10 they were in a hurry to take away everything. The room was not clean and I didn’t have shave kit until the last day after asking the manager for one. The main chef Henry was very polite and good. The big pool was nice. I did talk to a manager about this and he gave us 1h massage for free because I was so disappointed over this hotel. The gym had no AC. And there Was no real facilities at the hotel. The staff was not interested in make u feel at home or have a nice stay at this place. They don’t speak English. It’s far from everything and u are in the middle of no were. Tuck tuck to Kao Lak city cost 1000 bath 2 ways. I hope this hotel loses stars because it’s to far away from 5 stars!

The Staff was rude and extremely bad at english. We was not given any information on the area or how the food and service worked. We did not have all inclusive, just the breakfast buffé. The breakfast was good, a lot of options. Because we didn't have all inclusive we were not allowed to eat or drink between breakfast and dinner at the hotell restaurang. We were directed to the beach bar which made us feel a bit unwelcomed by the staff. The food at the beach bar was awful and expressive. And we had to wait about 1 hour every time we ordered. Even if we just ordered coffee. And because of the bad location we did not have a choice but to eat at the hotel. Around the hotel area it was no stores, restaurants or anything else to do. So we had to travel to khao lak center with was 1000-1300 bath both ways. Our room was ok. They cleaned every day, often missed several things. The bathroom was dirty when we arrived. We had a lot of ants and mosquitos on our room. It was loud music playing by the beach and pool all day, which Some may enjoy, we did not. The pool was nice and the beach was beautiful. I would not say that this is a 5 star hotel, and would recommend others to stay somewhere else because there are so many places far better than this.

Great pool. Lovely beach with towel boys awaiting your arrival to prepare your sunlounge . Large very clean rooms and nice staff. Menu limited in restaurant however breakfast was varied daily with a nice selection at the buffet. Shuttle service to town was good.

On holiday in Phuket I went to Khao Lak side in the evening I stopped at hotel Le Menara for a dinner. What a surprise to see a French chef the buffet was excellent a perfect combination between Thailand France and Italy a big big thanks to the chef who took his time to give me all the explanations and recipes of the buffet I will recommend Le Menara hotel to my friend
