Currently undergoing refurbishment in some of rooms but our room had comfortable bed and new bathroom, minor problem with shower/hot water but this was sorted very quickly! Food was very good and excellent service at breakfast and dinner, enjoyed walks nearby and approx 20min drive to Aberystwyth. Staff at hotel, Tina and Chris could not have been more helpful and...

We went on a Wowcher deal. Bed, breakfast and a bottle of Prosecco so it was very definitely value for money. The bedroom could do with updating, but it was clean and the bed was very comfy. The overall experience was very relaxing with excellent service from efficient and friendly staff. The food was great and the place is obviously...

It's currently going through a refurbish which is great but means we had a lot of glitches. First room had no heating, burns in the carpet, kettle on the floor and a bathroom from the 80s so we got moved. Next room was better. However still had to have two manual heaters. They didn't have us staying for two days,...

First visit here and would definitely go back. The food was lovely and the service was spot on. We were a group of 4 and everyone commented on how nice the food was and the character of the hotel. The bar was welcoming and lively with plenty seating available. All round fantastic evening.

Staff not that welcoming... but did not expect much for the money! but was dissapointed in the room as the tv did not work and it had black mold in the windows and no radiators so it was ice...

Just come back from the curry night here, and have to say it was superb food, all home cooked too. The chef also makes the curries at the Cross Foxes at Dollegau ,Highly recommend both places if you like curry Roger & Ann Elias.

Went for our second visit on curry night, was busy and we hadn't booked, but they kindly found us a table. Both our curries were excellent, came on hot plates so food stayed hot from first mouthful to last. Looking forward to a return visit. Thank you.

We ate here on a couple of occasions and were very impressed with the food. Homemade and delicious, whether it was a main meal or sandwich. The burger was great value for money, beautifully cooked, well presented and tasted awesome. The tagliatelle was silky, delicious and stayed hot, which for tagliatelle is rare. The portions were also a good size...

If this place wasn't next to the devils bridge no one would visit. The food was a mix of ok and poor. We sat here and hot drinks before a Sunday dinner. The staff were less than helpful and obviously have no customer service training. My wife and daughter visited the ladies after the meal and couldn't wash their hands...

We arrived to the Hotel. Grabbed our million bags (baring in mind we were only staying 2 nights) we walked to the front door, opened up and walked in. As we walked in with our million bags a women that worked there walked past us and just gave us half a smile and walked into another room. We stood there...
