I stayed here for a night while hiking Offa's dyke. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The house and surroundings are lovely with all original Edwardian features. The breakfast was large and excellent. It was the best value for money out of all the B&Bs I stayed in.

We booked at short notice and were very lucky with the room allocated to us and our dog. What a fabulous location overlooking the Severn Valley and very clean and comfortable accommodation. After a great sleep and a lie-in (it was 'clocks back' night, the breakfast was really delicious. Obviously not well known enough yet, but we enjoyed it and...

This was perfect. A laid back, perfect night away. Couldn't fault the place. Gorgeous views, very quiet, nice room everything you could ask for. Very friendly owners who were nothing but helpful. Icing on the cake, they are dog lovers also and our best friend loved it. It's not often we find a place so suitable. But when we do,...

Only stayed one night to visit Powis Castle. (Very close by) Arrived at the B&B early evening via a long gravel road through a field, not a major problem but something to consider depending on your vehicle. We were given a back room which was small and dated. The web site shows several nice rooms, unfortunately not ours. Breakfast was...

Mike and Lynn did all they could to make out stay "just so". From the welcome and care over choice of rooms offered to us to the fact that they've recently refurbished to a high standard. Our rooms had views that were stunning and beds that were comfy with ensuite bathrooms that were clean and of high standard. Breakfast was...

Wonderful place, stunning views, couple that greeted us were lovely! Rooms were very nice, minus the random fire alarm going off at midnight. Everything was great beds, bathrooms and the breakfast was fab!! Plenty of food, drink and extras! Thankyou for a lovely stay.

I came off the Offa's Dyke path on Sunday 13th June having missed the signpost again and was fortunate enough to ask Tom at the Cock Hotel in Forden for a recommendation. Not only did he ring Mike up at the Edderton Hall Country House, he drove me down there where I was given a lovely room with en-suite bath....

My husband and I stayed here with a group of friends for 2 nights in May. It's a quirky old house which is comfortable and you are made to feel extremely welcome by the hosts who are great. Breakfast was good on both mornings with plenty of toast, tea, coffee etc being brought up fresh. The location isn't the best...
