Arrived after walking 10 miles from Corbridge on the Hadrians Wall trail. Tired and in need of relaxation we were so pleased to discover that we had a lovely bath in the accommodation. Great soup and plouhmans/salad with desert. Licenced as well with very good local beer. Excellent bed and fantastic view over the moors I cannot rate this venue... More

Stayed here as really convenient as is right next to Hadrians wall trail. It's around 4 miles from chollerford or 7 miles to once brewed/steel rigg. The Hadrians wall bus will also stop right outside which is very handy. Very nice evening meal plus got afternoon tea and cakes. Room was very smart and clean and was good size. Breakfast... More

Can't wait to visit Carraw B & B again next month. We've recommended and are taking friends this time. B & B tag doesn't really do the place justice as the service and excellent rooms are more along the lines of boutique Inn. We can't wait to enjoy the breakfast again which sets you up for the days hike.! Kevin... More

The room fieldfare had the most amazing panoramic view through large picture windows. The room and the on suite were spotless and modern. We stayed for 2 nights, the staff were pleasant and friendly and breakfast was very good with choices. We spent a day at Hadrian's wall Housesteads walking and visited Chester's later, really fascinating history regarding the Roman... More

We were fortunate enough to spend 3 nights at Carraw. It is perfectly located for walking Hadrian's Wall and is in a beautiful and peaceful location. Leah and Kevin are very welcoming and friendly. Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious and had a wonderful view. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We would also highly recommend the ploughman's supper... More

We had the Chesters room, and it must surely be one of the best rooms we’ve ever stayed in. Very spacious with views across open countryside, and a massive ensuite with a large bath. Some of the other rooms are much smaller apparently, so ask for Chesters! Breakfast was very nice with good variety and you must try Leah’s homemade... More

We booked this B&B based on its location along Hadrian's Wall and guest reviews. I would say that my only disappointment regarding our stay was that it was only 1 day. Kevin and Leah were an absolute delight. They held dinner service for us when our flight was delayed. The ploughman's supper was quite a tasty surprise by the way.... More

Warm welcome, excellent service, comfortable room, and ideally situated for Housesteads and Vindolanda. We went for a pub meal in Humshaugh, which was fine, but we should have gone for the supper at the B & B and saved ourselves some extra driving. However we did order the packed lunch to take with us, and that was excellent - and... More

Stayed in a bedroom in the annexe. Excellent room and very large, well equipped, wet room. Ploughmans meal in the evening - good and filling. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options. B & B is an excellent spot for the wall. Will return again.
