Alpasion and the people who work their embody hospitality. The property is beautiful and sits amongst the wine vines. Rooms have all the right touches (robes, a/c, tv, heated floors, patios with hammocks) to make you feel spoiled! We stayed for a week and felt like family, leaving things in the fridge, grabbing a bottle of wine to sip, walking the property. Non pretentious and down to earth but with abundant style and class. Every need was catered to as well. Cannot recommend Alpasion enough. You won't be disappointed!
A very stylish boutique hotel situated in the middle of a vineyard. The rooms are spacious and minimalist with a little terrace looking out onto the Andes and vines. The bed was very comfortable. There are lovely sitting areas to relax in. The breakfast was very nice - lovely fresh juice, nice breads, good coffee, eggs to order, fruit and yogurts, various sweet treats. We had dinner here also which was excellent and good value - 4 course set dinner menu with a wine pairing for about A$50. The restaurant was also very stylish with a lovely open fire. Not much English spoken and no one person seemed in charge but Matias did speak English and was incredibly good at organising and advising on wineries and visits. This is a great place to relax in the heart of the Uco valley wineries with stunning views. The WiFi was a little erratic at best for this quality of hotel …
Quite amazing lodge in the middle of nowhere. It is quite remote from anything aside couple of wineries near by. The town is several minutes away by car but I think the point here is to retreat from civilization several of days. Of course here is wifi so you won't "disappear" completely, although you probably should. Sadly we did not stay the night and only went for lunch and wine tasting. The staff was great specially Daniella who greeted us, gave us a tour of the lodge and tended to us during lunch. Also Abbie who guided the wine tasting. Fantastic place, can't wait to go back and spent a couple of nights.
Beautiful lodge if you want to get away from civilization. We stayed for 4 nights and went on two great wine tasting tours. Lovely people running the lodge. Food was quite good. Rooms were lovely - dry Mendoza air and terrain backdropped by the most amazing mountain scenes. The hammock outside our room provided many hours of quite leisure time.
This lodge is quite remote and very small with only 6 rooms. The staff speaks very little English which is challenging at times. We like early morning coffee and were promised 6:30 service twice w/o success. Third day they left a thermos for us. What really got me was the charge for a small bag of laundry = $90. What a ripoff! I verified that they do the laundry onsite. I could have bought all new undies plus more for that price.
