Los Arcos de Sol is located in a centuries old building with an outdoor verandah with tables, looking onto the town square. I can't pronounce or spell what we had but essentially it was a tender fillet of flank steak with guacamole , re-fried beens and a small salad at 120 pesos ($6 US). They served a side dish of...

Our food was cold when served. This restaurant is not ready to take care more than 3 tables at the tiime. Since it is a a very small town, with few visitors they are at times short of staff and that makes that serving takes longer than it should. Location is great, right infront of the main plaza.

This place is a dump! It is a run down old building in need of repair. The room we were given had low ceiling, it is like been in a lock in a dungeon. The sink is one foot wide in front of your bed! There are other places less expensive on the side street and better quality and worth...

We made a road trip to San Sebastian from Puerto Vallarta. A beautiful drive to a beautiful town. We didn't stay at Los Arcos de Sol but we had lunch on their porch. The tables overlook the town square for a nice view. The waiter was very attentive and informative. If we ever need to stay the night, this would...

We were planning to stay at Hacienda Jalisco but it's under the renovation now. So we looked for a similar experience and found this place. It is own and run by a local elderly man. It is an authentic old, probably as old as Hacienda Jalisco, building right in the central square. Very quiet at night. It's picturesque, has good...

... or moves very slowly in this beautiful little town inland from Puerto Vallarta. You can see why John Huston gathered some of his rich and famous cast (Liz and Rich) to R and R here. Los Arcos de Sol is a building several hundred years old. Despite its vintage, it has been adapted admirably to 21st century needs without...

Very old complex, with stone floor, high ceiling, good bed and hot water. The grounds in the center should be cleaned up, lots of stuff laying around and piled on the roof of lower buildings in the complex.
