Nice hotel in a rather dull area of the city. Convenient for the university, but far from most other interesting places. Helpful staff, reasonable price. Hotel decoration on the eccentric side (flashy green?), but overall comfortable place.

The Ibis Styles in Villeurbanne has always been one hotel I enjoyed staying at. Not only is the location good for me but also the service was always pleasant, the rooms clean and the breakfast offers a nice array of choices. The breakfast is still nice but I was disappointed but the cleanliness of the room, the bathroon smelled of...

Stayed for one night during EURO 2016. We arrived late in the evening after catching a train from Saint Etienne after our game. Hotel is located in what looks like a Student Town, a mere 15-20 minutes by tram from Lyon Part Deu station. Not much around in terms of entertainment but that was not the reason of our stay....

We stayed here for four nights over the weekend of the Rugby European Finals in May. I had tried to book an hotel closer to the centre but as it happened, we needn’t have worried. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Republique Villeurbane Metro and a couple of minutes walk from Einsten Tram stop both of which will...

With the aircon not functioning during last weeks heat wave, we were directed to a nearby Ibis. Where we paid more for a very small room and did not have breakfast included....so apparently the malfunctioning of the aircon became our problem. Not the usual Accor way I hope.....

It offers all the qualities that you can expect from the Ibis family hotels. Only 6km fron the city centre at a very nice and quiet location. Only negative the restaurant is closed during weekends!!!!!

Colourful rooms, a bit small but clean and with nice bathroom/shower. Fresh orange juice machine, and various friuts/bread/cereals and pastry for breakfast. A quick 20-minute walk to the congress centre through the park, or buses located just outside the hotel.

Travelling for almost 30 years, this is the worst value hotel I have experienced in my life. You pay for a 3-4 star, but you get a 1-2 star. Here are the deficits: - So-called 'stylish' ambiente, but sparse room and IMHO terrible decoration (e.g., a kind of neon lamp to illuminate your room in a most daunting way) -...

I stayed in this hotel with my wife and child. I liked that the hotel had a room for children. Located a university quarter was quiet and cozy. Free parking in the surrounding streets, the seats were free. The center is the light rail, it is very convenient and cheap. Breakfast is average. The staff is polite.
