Stayed at L'ours Blanc for the Etape weekend. Excellent and helpful staff who speak good English. Very convenient for a walk into the centre of Morzine across the footbridge and in a quite residential street. Nice pool and garden. Breakfast was very good with various hot options. Bedrooms are on the compact side but comfy with good bathroom facilities. We... More

Lovely staff that speak English but also speak some French to you so that you can practice! When we lost our car key they offered to take us to the police station! Pool is great and the food is incredible (great variety and some typical French dishes)! Great spot for a cycling holiday!

I chose this hotel (for a week's skiing with my 21 year old son) on the basis of a) other peoples' reviews and b) the price; I was not disappointed on either count! The hotel has been in the same family for three generations and Amandine & Arnaud are doing a splendid job in continuing the family tradition. The breakfast... More

Stayed here with my husband and daughter for a mid week break skiing the Morzine area. Hotel was not only clean and well located but food and service were excellent too. Looks like they are gradually updating the windows - rooms etc so good to see money being spent for the future. Run by a lovely young family and I... More

Lovely friendly well run hotel, tasty well cooked food, very convenient location for skiing and access to the town centre and good value for money. The owners make you feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely stay there again

I had a really great stay at this hotel for skiing at February half term with my two sons. The owners work hard to look after all guests and we were very comfortable and well fed on our half board deal. Breakfasts and dinners both exceeded our expectations for a small two star hotel. There are eggs, sausages and baked... More

We're just home from a week's skiing in Morzine. We stayed at Hotel L'Ours Blanc in a group of two families - nine people in total. The hotel is warm, clean and very comfortable. The owners, Arnou & Amandine, are really friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are basic but good sizes (certainly larger than... More

It's 10 mins walk across the bridge to Super Morzine lift and into the centre of the village. and has great views of the Alpes and village from the balconies. The rooms are simple, well maintained. The meals are set and are very good, three course diners and buffet breakfast. The family are extremely pleasant and helpful. We were biking... More
