I recently stayed at the Rectory Farm Hotel as a recommendation from my boss of somewhere nice to stay in Cambridge. The building and grounds are stunning and well maintained. However inside it felt very dated, and could do with an update in terms of keeping with the theme "laura ashley style decor" but more with the time. Get looking... More

Have stayed here a couple of times in the last two months. In many ways it is a good place to stay if you want to avoid the ridiculously expensive hotels in central Cambridge. The setting is very pleasant and the rooms clean and comfortable. However there were one or two issues that spoilt the stays. The bedroom was quite... More

Stayed just one night. Hotel almost straight off junction 13 of M11, that said we didn't have any traffic noise V close to park and ride and the City tour bus stop. Reception staff helpful, but the strict 3.00 earliest check in was rigidly enforced Room was nice, the ensuite v clean and new. Unfortunately our curtains fell off in... More

Rectory Farm is situated in the countryside, a few minutes drive from the centre of Cambridge and adjacent to the M11. It is also just a few minutes walk from a Park and Ride. We were in room 3 in the main house, which has the look of a country house, outside and in. There was plenty of wardrobe and... More

We had a room in a building away from the main building. The room was clean, a good size and nicely furnished. There is an outdoor pool ( which we didn't use). It's a shame they don't do full English in the beautiful breakfast room though the continental breakfast was quite good with lovely fresh breads There was a 'boil... More

We stayed at the Rectory Farm for 1 night this weekend, whilst on a trip back down from Middlesborough - we decided to spend 1 night/day in Cambridge. The hotel location was just perfect, having turned off the M11 we were at the hotel within minutes, we did not hear the road from the hotel and felt like we were... More

On our arrival, my impatient husband, (even before the receptionist had even said, "hello"), asked if we could have a room in the main hotel! We were told, unfortunately the hotel was fully booked. Then whilst we were unloading our car, the receptionist came to us and told us the good news, we could have a room, as there had... More

I stayed here recently because my normal haunts were booked dup due the Cereal event being on. I was pleasantly surprised. Great friendly staff, lovely room even though I stayed in the annex next to the main old Manor House (Shame as it looked fabulous) always next time. the grounds and the woods at the back of the hotel were... Fantastic setting and very relaxing, continental breakfast only is the 1 fault I would have,a full English in the setting your staying in would be a big plus but would definitely go back again if staying in Cambridge, plenty of parking and just a 5 minute drive to the centre of Cambridge,no hassle and very attentive staff!

The property is set in a lovely location, on the outskirts of the city, conveniently near to one of the Park & Ride's. To be honest it probably has illusions of grandeur as the accommodation is not as impressive as it likes to make out. We stayed just one night in the annexe away from the main house and as... More
