Overall very impressed with this hotel, lovely surrounds and helpful staff. My bed room was really nice and the bathroom was stocked with the usual toiletries/sewing kit/tea/coffee etc. The only thing that didn't work out for us was the late timing for breakfast which (although it had been brought forward by 15 mins) did not give us enough time to... Stayed here for one night and was very pleased with the decision. The 'Hotel' is uniquely placed a short distance from the M11....although you would never know! We were lucky enough to stay in the 'master' suite which was extremely light and airy. Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. There is also an outdoor swimming pool and a very detailed footpath... More

My husband and I booked what we thought was a superior double in the main house with a garden view to find we had a room in the outbuilding. The room was fine with a view of a field so just not what we had expected. The lady booked us in while booking in another couple at the same time... More

Stayed here for a wedding for two nights along with most of the wedding party. The main house is beautiful, as are the grounds and the swimming pool area so has the makings of a wonderful B&B. However, several factors let it down which I have summarise below, all of which could be easily resolved by the owners, if they... More

I wanted to take a short break with my family and at the same time wanted to visit our friends in Cambridge. This is the perfect place if you don't want to stay in the city. It's only ten or fifteen minutes to the city centre. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are spacious. It has a parking area and... More

We booked a room with a king size bed for 2 nights. We were correctly informed that the room (room 7) was small but were assured that the bed was king size. It wasn't. We asked to be relocated to a room with a king size bed and was told that they had JUST sold the last room. I immediately... More
