Lovely large room beautifully furnished and a massive bed made me want to stay longer than the 2 nights booked. Breakfast is best savoured and taken slowly. It was a well presented continental style with lots of choice. I expect to book again if in the area. It has the real avantage of being only a few minutes from the...

A new favourite hotel within easy reach of Cambridge - we will certainly book to stay here again. Remarkably, the hotel is right next to the M11, but it's so quiet that you wouldn't know it. We woke to a beautiful frosty morning that felt like it was miles from the nearest road! The main house is amazing, but we...

A stone's throw from central Cambridge, but without all the hassle. Transport links are excellent. The grounds are nicely managed and the main house is elegant and beautifully presented. The staff are also very helpful.

Rectory Farm is absolutely top-notch in every respect, and great value for money. Wonderfully easy to find (just off the M11), it's a lovely property in beautiful grounds and offers exceptional accommodation for an incredibly reasonable price. Warm welcome, lovely rooms, very comfortable beds, excellent bathroom/shower - the list goes on. My colleague and I didn't stay for breakfast, but...

I have been to this hotel twice in the last 3 weeks while my daughter underwent a major operation. On the first occasion I had booked too many nights and the management were truly understanding and enormously helpful to me when I left early. On the second visit my younger daughter spent one night with me in a twin room....

Stayed for 2 days, Rectory Farm is simply 5 stars out of 5 on everything, from the quiet location to the excellent continental breakfast in front of the chimney fire. I've stayed in other locations around Cambridge and by far, Rectory Farm is the best in terms of quality/price ratio!!

We often stay over night in Cambridge carrying out university parental stuff. This was our first time at Rectory Farm. We stayed in the main house, so cannot comment on the chalet accommodation. We loved our room and really enjoyed our stay. We would certainly return.

We stayed here a few weeks ago and arrived 2 hours before check in to get ready for a wedding. We asked whether we could just use the room (for the mirror more than anything else) and were happy even if it hadn't been cleaned... the staff and owner were less than accommodating and instead offered us the pool changing...

Fantastic, clean, charming and helpful staff. Coffee maker and cookies waiting in room. Room and bathroom are new and very clean and everything is quaint and useful. Beautiful grounds even though the weather was quite bad. Would stay here for a month if we could. Highly recommended.

Stayed overnight midweek and the hotel seemed to be full. The main house is beautiful set in a lovely rural setting. There are chalets in the grounds but we were shown to a double in the main house. The room was exceptionally clean and the bathroom appeared to be new. Very comfy beds although my pillows were a bit lumpy...
