Well located and recently renewed. The rooms are nice and give you a warm feeling, equipped with all the usual amenities. On the downside, the rooms located at the front are a bit noisy because of the main road. Helpful and friendly staff.

We stayed one night and booked on short notice, asking for a "nice, quiet room". We received the opposite - even though there were 6 rooms available one day before our stay. Our room was right next to the elevator, it was small as can be, with a 2 square meter bathroom, a 140cm supersoft mattress (my wife is much lighter than I so she kept rolling "downhill"), you could hear everything from the (bath)room next door, our view out the window was the A/C engine and the roof and finally, the TV was connected provisionally to a three-plug extension cable. We checked in late so there was no way to change rooms. All in all we had a subpar experience at this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone who is looking for some level of comfort. We were disappointed.

This is rather a hostel than a hotel. Reception is not staffed during the evening and night. Keys are left at the entrance, so anyone can access your room prior to arrival. Rooms are clean, but very, very basic. Wifi connection is terrible and times out the entire stay.

Although the building looks old & not very inviting, the interior will make you change your tune. There is also parking on the back of the building. The 1 bed room we had was clean, simple and comfortable. The washroom was fairly large considering the European standards (we were on the top floor). All in all we had a great stay and definitely would return.

We stayed at The Mandarina in September. Despite being on a busy street, once inside it is very quiet and homely. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I dealt mainly with Marc and Jean-Baptiste who were very accommodating to my many questions. The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfasts were consistently very good. As it was only a ten minute walk from a relative's house I found this hotel very handy; but also it is a ten minute walk from the Cactus, a large supermarket. It is also very easy to get into town with regular buses right on the doorstep. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to stay there again one day!
