This is an amazing place that we booked as an overnight stop when walking the Glendwr Way. It is in a good location and easy to find. The place is spotless and well run. David the owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome. You will love the upstairs lounge and the stunning view of the fishing... More

Six of us stayed in this B and B and we couldn't have asked for more. We were made to feel very welcome and the rooms were extremely spacious and clean. The view was excellent and the middle floor is a great place to meet and appreciate the view with a glass of wine. We will definitely return here; very... More

Having recently spent a long weekend with two friends we were so impressed with the location that I had to let you all know how good we found it. Ideal for walkers, bird watchers, fishermen and artists. The premises were so clean, the food and attention by Dave and Carol was unbeatable, nothing was too much trouble for them. The... More

My wife and I stayed here for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great room, comfortable bed and large ensuite shower room. Guest lounge on first floor for evening relaxation with view of lake and surrounding countryside. Excellent breakfast and excellent value for money. So much to do in surrounding area. Take a bow David & Carol.

Myself and various members of my family (7 of us in total) descended on David and Carol for 4 nights as we walked the Glyndwr Way. We were made to feel very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our delicious breakfasts to start the day and equally delicious evening meals after an enjoyable but tiring days walking. The rooms were perfect and... More

Located in a small and peaceful village the guest house is amazing with fantastic views from their patio and sun lounge over their own lake, the fields of the adjacent farm and the mountains and hills towards Lake Vyrnwy. Watching sheep and fish feeding has never been so peaceful. The facilities were superb, with our motorcycles locked away in the... More

We have just returned from two days here, what a lovely house in a pretty little village, so quiet and peaceful, just what we needed. Our room was classed as the one with the scenic view, definitely the best of all of them, the view was spectacular, the lake and the fields and forest behind was absolutely gorgeous. The room... Some friends of ours visited Dolanog Bed and Breakfast recently and were so enthusiastic about their stay that we just had to try it for ourselves. After a warm welcome from Dave and Carol, we were shown to our room which was spacious, clean and cosy. We had arrived in darkness and so I was certainly not expecting the fantastic... More

A most enjoyable experience. Although David and Carol the hosts of this b n b had only taken it over roughly a few weeks before our stay and have lots of new plans it was a complete pleasure to stay. They make you feel that you are one of the family, nothing is too much trouble. It is beautifully decorated,... More
