Driving up to this impressive House you are not disappointed. Check-in was swift and very helpful Staff. Cream Team was absolutely wonderful and the Service was excellent. Our room (Junior Suite, room 3) was immense and couldn't have been better. Didn't have Dinner at the Hotel, as it all looked a bit too fancy, so decided to eat at their... More

We were really looking forward to our stay as from the literature and web it looks 5 star . On arrival the reception desk was unmanned and we had to wait quite a while before anyone came. The person was very pleasant and apologetic but nevertheless..... Once in the room , our first impressions were that it was a good... More

The building is fantastic! You don't get many like this for the price. Yes it's dated, No it's not modern, no it hasn't got fancy items in the rooms. That's what make's it so cool and a good experience. We dropped lucky when it was 35 degrees they have an outdoor pool, amazing gardens, with lots of seating. Staff were... More

I had my wedding at theManor this July. Going back to when my husband reserved it. I was reluctant because of the reviews. I was living abroad so most of my planning was done via Skype, email or telephone. As time went on, the wedding planner put me at ease as she accommodated certain theme I was pursuing. I wanted... If there were a 3.5 rating for good I'd have awarded The Manor that as a rating. It's good but with investment it could be amazing. It's got everything going for it but it's just a bit tired. That said, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and they did everything they could to accommodate our party.

When we pulled into the drive a member of staff was giving directions to a car ahead of us. When he had finished directing them, he turned, scowled at me and walked away. There was no car park, just cars pulled up on the grass alongside the gravel drive. There was no vehicular access to the hotel and we had... More

Beautiful old house with lovely gardens Staff helpful Food delicious While we were staying there was a conference/training in the annex area This seemed to cause staff stress and interesting consequences of this stress gave us some fun! Would I go back? Yes in a flash

We used the Manor as a conference venue for 3 days / 2 nights. What a peaceful and beautiful venue from which to work! In addition to this the food, throughout our working day, was creative and lovely. The staff were very helpful and attentive (also the case in the sister pub - The Black Sheep). Two small issues: 1.... More

We have stayed here before when we go to the Opera at Garsington, and loved it and it has become an annual repeat. We will have to look for some place new. Apparently there has been a change in management. It is understaffed, poorly maintained (dirty carpets, torn in places) breakfast a mediocre buffet, when before it was an elegant... More

I had pre-booked a Cream Tea for my group of 26 at The Manor Weston on the Green, as the perfect end to a Five Day Tour to Medieval Dunster & Exmoor. I had phoned through to the Hotel to update them of our progress on our 200 plus mile journey from the south-west when we were 30 minutes away,... More
