Overall clean and nice park. Quiet, and maintained. Nice big spaces, and easy full hookups. Some full timers, neatly kept. Shower house and bathrooms. Bathroom floor could use a little more mopping, and raise the soap dispenser are my only criticism. Dolly is the standout here, so warm and friendly! Across the street the hotel has excellent food. Anderson split pea is less than a mile away, casa de fruta is a great stop! Close to pinnacle state park, hollister, san miguel mission for motorcycles. Santa ana dam and reservoir beautiful.
Nice clean park ... you don’t have to unhook on the big rig ... just pull in diagonal as 2 cemented parking spaces leave plenty of room for both. Very clean and sets far enough off I-5 so that noise is kept at bay. Less than a mile to Andersen’s Split Pea Restaurant. Some full-timers. Fuel stop close, too. We’ve stayed here twice.
Yeah, it's a stop. Just a stop. But right across the street is In and Out, Panda Express, Starbucks, McDonalds, and a few other little eateries. If you walk through the mobile home park behind, there's a little grocery store in a 5 min walk (you don't have to walk along the busy road like it seems). Yeah, lots of trucks and it is right off the 5. But nice safe dog walkies, with grass, and easy pull in/out with adequate cable. No CNN or FOX, which I found whimsical but oddly refreshing; they do have food Network, HGTV and History channel, so I'm good! Double sites, which might be just when they aren't fully booked. They sell propane, and everything works. Pea Soup Andersons is just down the road which is pretty fun to stop at. All in all, for what it is, I like this little place. I'll be back.…
Perfectly fine place to stay. Clean RV park. Small and well set up. Large flat concreted sites. I don’t know how much more you need. We will stay here again!! We didn’t have any trouble. It’s near the road lots of trucks but it didn’t interrupt our restful night.
Excellent place to stop on a long drive. Was looking forward to arriving by 2, but an emergency vet appt delayed us. Called ahead, no problem we were already slotted into a site. We arrived found or paperwork, parked, went to office in AM and paid. Clean park, clean bathrooms. A welcome sight. Would definitly recommend and will return.
I really did not enjoy this park, it is just a parking lot located off the I-5 between San Francisco and San Diego. They advertise enclosed dog run, they do not have an enclosed dog run. It is right off the I-5 in a highly congested truck stop area, the traffic noise is constant and trucks back up the entire road. It is very difficult and dangerous driving in and out of the park. The wifi is terrible and we had to share the sewer with our neighbors.
Very clean place, kind management but some trailers trash really destroy the scene and the management does nothing and discrimination is very present. It is also a very boring place, it will not cost a lot to add some games like shoes horse in the grass.....Also Internet access is terrible....
Very nice Clean RV park with large concrete pull throughs. Dolly is very helpful and friendly. Large mobile home park in the back, which I think is the source of my bicycle being stolen during the night. I reported it to Dolly and she was very upset. As they apparently have had the problem before and put in more security cameras and lights. She called the police so I could make a report. Dispite this, we would stay there again and lock up anything outside. There is a wonderful wildlife refuge very close so the dogs could run free.
There aren’t many choices for RV parks on the I-5 halfway between San Diego and Napa, but this one was perfect. Easy access from the freeway, near several casual eating places, and well kept. Showers were good sized and of average cleanliness. Pads were concrete and solar panels above created nice shade for our spot. A little bit of freeway noise at night but not enough to keep me awake.
The fourth power box had stable power but that is really ridiculous. Sites are pretty level and it’s really convenient to overnight. Big rigs fit but you need to be diagonal and unhook any toad. No AC in the bathrooms but heated in the winter.
