In 2012, our family stayed at Torcastle B&B and had a wonderful experience: great location, fantastic breakfast and very friendly hosts. Returning to Scotland this year, we stayed at Sheperd's Rest, the self-catering house on the same property, and had another excellent visit. Our kids loved the farm and playing with the family dogs. Last visit, the kids saw newly-born... More

This was a really welcoming guesthouse. The family keep hens so fresh eggs for breakfast to complement the rest of the tasty home cooked food! Exciting going through the little tunnel on the way! We would def come back to stay, simply the best!

Out of the way, enchanting, mild to very adventurous ... a special highlight of our travels! The journey to Torcastle is part of the adventure - as covered in other reviews. For us there were so many highlights - the walk past the lambs to the beautiful river bend, Tor Castle ruins covered in wildflowers, watching a block being plowed... More

Fantastic place, hidden away down dirt tracks and even through a funny little tunnel underneath the canal which makes for a fun addition. The property is modern, clean and very spacious. I particularly like that the bedrooms have their own separate living area making it a great option for a family. Our room was large and the en-suite bathroom too,... More

We had the most amazing stay at this B and B, everything was absolutely perfect. The views were stunning; looking upon Ben Nevis and in the most beautiful, peaceful location, it was really out of this world. The house is immaculate and totally homely and comfortable, as well as being super practical and spacious at the same time. Most of... More

We visited this self catering accommodation on a break with my elderly parents. It's in a great location, which feels very remote, but is, in actual fact, very handy for the town of Fort William with it's many bars, coffee shops and restaurants. The view of Ben Nevis, from the house is beautiful. The house itself is clean, very well... More

With a fabulous welcome from lambs, chickens and the family's three gorgeous labs, this place is terrific. Great hosts, comfy bed and hearty breakfast. Would definitely go again, only downside is it's a 5h drive to get back there. Really tranquil place with views of of the Nevis range and decent pub in fairly easy walking distance too. We drove,... B and B stays don't get better than this. The house is new (2010) and immaculate and modern. No stuffy, musty, antique stuffed rooms here. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Plus, there is a great guest lounge that doubles as a breakfast room where you can rest a wee bit instead of sitting in your room. It is... More

We were given a lovely warm welcome after a long journey. Breathtaking scenery of the mountains. Our room was very inviting, so good to get into the bath - love the quality toiletries! After a restful night sleep and before continuing on our journey we had an excellent cooked breakfast which set us up for the day. Excellent accommodation, would... More
