Stopped here to grab a bite to eat after a weekend away in Betws Y Coed. Had the most amazing Sunday dinner, the meal was so big I couldn't finish it. The meat melted in your mouth, the veg was cooked to perfection, the Yorkshire pudding was huge but perfectly done. The staff were friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend... More

I ordered chicken wings as my starter and chilli and chips for main. The chicken wings were deep fat fried and soaking in grease my main course was floating in greasy liquid needless to say I never ate any. The presentation was bad just thrown on the plate with horrible liquid around the chips . The chilli looked anemic. Needless... More

We popped in for the evening and had a good choice of food. I had the steak and kidney pie off the main menu. My wife chose a lamb shank off the specials board. The food was served very quickly and was very tasty with good portion size. The pub served real ale so I was very pleased. We noticed... More

Let me start ..... It is pub food. But great pub food. The service was exceptional from the drink service to our server Sian. We had a wonderful evening with family. As long as you go knowing itis pub food you'll have a great evening, so friendly and wonderful views. We will be going back.

Well we were in the neighbourhood for a couple of weeks so we thought we'd try the village local. The pub itself is in a great location with views over the Dee valley, the staff were welcoming and very friendly. Only one real ale on the bar which I had no complaints about which I drank on their patio outside,... More

We stopped for lunch on our journey to Anglesey & we were only wanting food & somewhere that welcomed children but were amazed to find a soft play area in it! There is a restaurant overlooking the hills that is lovely, a terrace outside to sit in the sun, a pool or snooker room and an inside bar area. To... More

Called in here after a walk over the Berwyns – all we wanted was a decent cup of tea. It was served up as if we were the most wonderful people she’d ever met (I assure you we are not). Some people are so naturally nice that you wonder why we are not all like that.

My wife and I found everyone who worked here very caring and helpful; the view was quite nice but the food quality, though ordering nothing complex, a little uneven. Something about both the menu and overall character of the place gave us a hint to keep it simple as our best path. We started off well enough with a generously... More

We stopped of at the Berwyn arms for a bite to eat on our way to Pwhelli. We had a lighter lunch as we planned on dining out in the evening. I had a tuna mayo bagette with a side salad and my partner a hot roast beef and gravy bagette with chips. The waitress showed us to another room... More
