Beautiful and peaceful hotel and winery – very comfortable
This is a lovely and peaceful venue just south of Granada. The hotel is stylish and modern with comfortable bedrooms and beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. It is located within a winery producing excellent wines and guests can have organised bodega visits and wine tastings at the weekends. There is an outdoor swimming pool with sunbeds and well-kept gardens. We had a superior room which was spacious and with a well-equipped bathroom and a terrace looking out over the winery and scenery. The hotel is very proficient regarding Covid 19 and there are hand gel dispensers widely available and all staff and guests wear face masks. Reception staff were very efficient and helpful as were housekeeping and the restaurant/bar staff. There is substantial external car parking available, plus there is an optional chargeable underground car park available. In the restaurant there is a good selection of very well-presented dishes. As often is the case in Spain portions can be large and many appetiser dishes are suitable for 2 to share. At breakfast they bring a tray for each table with breads, rolls, ham, cheese, jams, fruit etc. In addition, they bring hot drinks to order, fresh juice, water etc. For an extra charge of €6 they will provide freshly cooked eggs and bacon. We took a winery tour with tasting on the Sunday in English with Alejandro, who was highly informative and enthusiastic. The wines produced are exceptionally good and we purchased a few cases of their wine (our favourite was the Plata). The service throughout was faultless and professional. Overall, an excellent break away from home – very relaxing and highly recommended.

    Great place - good wine
Perfect place for our overnight stay on arrival in Spain. The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings within their own vineyards and overlooking the Sierra Nevada. They produce three reds, rose and a white wine, the red wine being classified as Bronze, Silver and Gold. I preferred the white wine to the rose for pre-dinner drinks and we also tried the Silver and the Gold red wines, both delicious. The Gold would go well with a jolly good steak. The Silver was our choice for dinner, not so high on the tannins and thoroughly enjoyable. We went for the half board including dinner and the set menu was extremely good. You would be well advised to arrive hungry as the menu includes starter, fish course (big) followed by meat course (big too) and pudding. Our bedroom was quite small but modern and comfortable with a good quality shower room. I think there are larger rooms in the hotel too. The staff were all friendly, polite and helpful with my practically non existent Spanish language. We booked an underground parking space for 6 euros but there was plenty of outdoor parking so we didn't really need this. I imagine it is more useful in the hot summer weather. Would we go again? Yes, absolutely.

A perfect place to enjoy and enjoy excellent food and wine
This was our second visit here, it’s a perfect place to relax, enjoy excellent food and wine with stunning views and very good staff. Our room for 5 days had a balcony with extensive views over the pool and into the Sierra Nevada mountains. The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. The wine made here is very good indeed and reasonably priced - we particularly enjoyed their rose wine which suited the food and hot weather. Our meals in the restaurant were delicious and the staff attentive. It was a pity that there were so few other visitors, due no doubt to current travel restrictions. We really enjoyed the seared tuna and the octopus. Breakfast was mainly served on pre assembled plates due to COVID rules rather than the good buffet of our first visit but rolls and pastries etc were laid out for choice. We will certainly return on our next trip to Andalucía.

From arrival reception, to our hotel room, the winery/cellar tour & wine tasting, to the evening meal serving 18 of us with 4 courses, right up to breakfast and our departure, none of us could fault any thing.

I am visiting the hotel as part of a touring group and have been given a decent sized room, but the room temperature is 27c at 4 in the afternoon and is remaining too high despite asking reception to fix it. The air-conditioining is clearly as dead as a dodo - there is no airflow from the vents at all. This location should get 5 stars but has let itself down by failing to maintain infrastructure. if you can't sleep in sweltering conditions and don't fancy being eaten alive by mosquitos, then just stay somewhere else.

A good one night stop off just 20 miles south of Granada. We were able to try and buy wines, even though formal tours were not operating in the week. Great food and very accommodating staff. Best of luck during the Spanish state of alert.

25km from Grenada this hotel is the perfect resort to resgt between the visit at the fantastic City Grenada. What we found incredible was the quietness of the surroundings. The room was as big as a ballroom ;-) , with a shower as big as a trainstation hall. The breakfast 5* (with fresh squeezde orange juice (yammy yammy). Restaurant: wat a pleasure for the eyes, wat a taste in our mouth !! For sure I would recommend to have at least 1 diner over there!! (prize wize: you get worth your money (not very expensive)

A stunning hotel set in equally stunning scenery who also produce stunning wine! Very friendly and efficient. We had a junior suite which was beautifully furnished in a contemporary way - huge amount of space with beautiful bathroom. Very quiet, very clean. Popular for weddings but we didn't experience any noise in our room. Great for relaxing and enjoying the countryside. Would return in a heartbeat .
