We stayed at Wern Ganol Farmhouse as we were going to an after wedding party. On arrival we were met by Caroline the owner, who made as very welcome, and showed us our rooms and gave us door keys, so we could come and go as we pleased. Rooms were fabulous really big, our room had 4poster bed that was... More

Stayed here with family for one night. Lovely old building which I believe was once a stable block, really good sized rooms which are tastefully decorated. Very comfortable bed and extremely quiet surroundings! Only problem I had was that the shower wasn't big enough to swing a rat in but I am quite tall! Delicious breakfast with plenty of everything... This is an excellent B&B! Andrew welcomed us on our arrival and showed us to our room. The room had a double four-poster bed and a single bed too. There was a huge TV and a lovely ensuite shower room and toilet. For breakfast we were served a great hearty Welsh breakfast in the lovely conservatory. Andrew made us feel... More

Stayed here over the weekend of 5/6 Sept for a wedding in the area. Very warm welcome, breakfast was a good standard and the building was really nice. We were in room six which had a massive bed in it and room was very clean. My only very small issue was the musky smell of the room. But it is... More

We spent 3 nights at Wern Ganol when visiting relatives in the area. Set on the edge of the beautiful Brecon Beacons and close to many of South Wales beaches, cities and attractions, it's a quiet place to unwind after a day sight-seeing. We stayed in a spacious family room with good en-suite facilities. The beds were comfortable and a... More

Excellent B and B. Plenty of parking, convenient pub two or three hundred yards away and elevated from the road with great views. Our room was large, the twin beds pushed together with a mattress topper to become a comfortable double with no irritating gap to fall into. Good lighting over the bed so we could see to read and... My son and I stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of May,we found it to be warm, clean, friendly and really good breakfasts. The reason for our visit was to show him the area that I spent so much time at as a child and to visit relatives that he had never met.we also used Wern Ganol as a base for... Recently we held a family celebration and asked Wern Ganol to take a number of family members. Nothing was too much trouble for them - even accommodating a last minute addition to one of the parties. All who stayed there were impressed with the standard of the accommodation and the friendliness of the owners.
