My partner and myself stayed two nights in the Lucy Walter's room. Everything was spotless, and the bed was huge. I suffer from an allium intolerance, which I informed the hotel about on booking. The staff were absolutely amazing at dealing with it, and the food was outstanding. There was some work going on in the sun room, meaning we couldn't access that part of the hotel, which was a shame, but we had a wonderful time and will be back as soon as we possibly can. Thank you to all the staff, for making our trip so memorable.

Thank you for highlighting that Roch Castle is undergoing some masonry repair work to the battlements outside our sunroom which we hope will be complete by mid December. We look forward to welcoming you back so you can enjoy the sunroom with its panoramic views of St Brides Bay and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park landscape. Cofion cynnes, Paula Ellis - Group General Manager.

Given the awful situation with the pandemic, this hotel was just what the doctor ordered. With only 6 rooms in total, the hotel was very quiet. The rooms are luxurious with everything catered for. We had a delicious breakfast in bed every day which was very nice, although did have the option to go to the dining room. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, nothing was to much trouble. Attention to detail was excellent. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough in which we had a very relaxing and romantic break. This is one of the nicest and most pleasant 5 *hotels that we have ever stayed in. Thank you.

I wanted somewhere magical and super romantic for my partners birthday suprise..and that's just what we got. We stayed for 3 nights in the "Ap Gruffydd" room ( we highly recommended it) The Castle has been renovated to such a beautiful standard, certain parts have been left to remind us of its history dating back to the 12th century. This Castle is Super clean, tidy and very comfortable. Our room was huge, but with cosy elements all around. Super helpful, kind and professional. Whatever we needed the staff were there to help. Roche castle only provides breakfast but what a breakfast this is! Not to be missed. The castle also has it's own " Honesty Bar" where you can help yourself to drinks & snacks. simply leave a note what you've taken ( the castle isnt staffed over night so there are times where we had the castle all to ourselves) Evening meal at Twr Y Felin Hotel: This is about a 20min ride ( provided by the castle ) to a small Town called St David's... the restaurant is stunning!! The food is pricey but for special occasions we just had to go. It's a very contemporary, upmarket high end establishment where the food and service is beyond 5star. Highly recommend. I just cannot say enough about Roche Castle. With so much to see and do, this place is a MUST if your looking for somewhere to explore the outdoors, take in the history or to simply relax and unwind in the most beautiful hotel we have " EVER STAYED IN" We would like to say a Special "Thankyou" to all the staff at Roche Castle for making my partners birthday surprise so memorable. We will definitely return again to relive the beauty not only of Roche Castle but of Wales itself. Thankyou from Keisha & Craig from Cornwall

Annwyl Mr Jolly, WOW! Thank you ever so much for taking the time to write such a lovely review, we are so glad to hear that Miss Estrada enjoyed her birthday celebrations with us! You certainly planned a wonderful weekend from everything from dinner at Blas, to a treatment with our therapist. The team will be so happy to learn you enjoyed your stay, as much as we enjoyed your company. We look forward to the possibility of welcoming you both back to Roch Castle, and Wales one day in the future. Cofion Cynnes / Kind Regards Adelle Sutherland - Reception Supervisor

Lot of effort put into designing the castle refurbishment with many quality touches. Superb breakfasts. Lunch and dinner are not available there but sister restaurant Blas is not bad though we somewhat preferred Gin and Kitchen at half the price. Be aware: no lifts and lots of stairs! Be wary of bathroom sliding doors which can be a threat to finger tips when sliding right back into the recesses. Lovely views from Ap Gryffydd room. Two metre walls ensure complete quiet. Huge bath which might seem luxurious but is hardly eco-friendly. Overall we had a really great stay.

Couldn't ask for anything more. Lovely place and lovely people. The restaurant in the evening is at the other hotel but they take you there and back with no time set so you can relax and enjoy and the food is excellent.
