I am still suffering with stomach & bowel problems having contracted food poisoning when I ate here 2 weeks ago. We were a large family group who had lunch here on the Tues after Christmas to celebrate a 90th birthday. Whilst my main course (chicken pie) was tasty, I made the huge mistake of ordering the Eton Mess for dessert.... More

we served Eaton mess fairly regularly on our menu ,it has homemade meringue fresh blueberries ,raspberries ,strawberries and fresh cream, and it sells very well ,we have never had any problems with this dessert ,and I am surprised to hear you claim you have and that it caused you a problem . .As you say it was very busy the... Having read already good reviews of The Harp we had high expectations and we certainly weren't disappointed. The Hotel was easy to find on the main A40 with a large car park and countryside views from all rooms. The room itself was situated in a row of what resembled old cottages and was just fabulous. Modern tasteful decor, warm, spotlessly... More

Having eaten in The Harp on a number of occasions over the past few years I have noticed recently that the prices have risen to the point where the food and drinks are getting expensive, for what is basically a public house with rooms. The size of the portions are also getting smaller. During a recent visit, the starter I... More

we pride ourselves on the production of all our meals in house ,using locally sourced product's. most of our main course are offered at between £ 8.95 /£10.50 .with the steaks and alcarte sections higher ,but all homemade and the meat sourced from our local butcher ,not frozen and done in the microwave like so many businesses these days .... This is our second visit to THE HARP. The first was good, the second even better. There is a pensioner's lunch daily, 1 course £6.00, two courses £7.50, which I found very reasonable. The lady behind the bar makes the best Irish Coffee in Pembrokeshire. I would go there just for that. But the food was good, the service was... More

For our wedding anniversary we stayed for 3 nights at the Harp, the hosts are lovely people who were very chatty and friendly. Breakfast was really lovely, well cooked and plentiful, with a good choice. We ate at the restaurant on Friday night and I can recommend the Sea bass ! Delicious! Our room was spotless, warm and cosy, with... More

Had 1 night inspotlessly clean, comfortable twin room. Noise not a problem although on main road. The food was excellent. Wide range of choice and 3 courses were very filling. They were waiting for chairs which would allow drinks before and after away from food area which will be a good addition. We didnt eat much for breakfast as still full... More

Very warm welcome from the owners. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy. Very well decorated and maintained. The food was excellent with lots of choices. The whole of the Inn was well decorated and very comfortable. Although on top of a main road there was very little noise and it was a pleasure to stay there.

We had called in at The Harp earlier in the year for a meal, which was excellent. I, along with my family, had been looking for a nice place to take my wife to, for her "milestone" birthday, after seeing the accommodation, this we decided was The Harp. There were 9 in our party, 3 being little people, Becky and... More

Great find - a lovely restaurant with great food and attentive hosts. One evening we had Duck and asparagus pie and the pastry was exceptional - all the food was delicious and the staff were brilliant. Wish you were closer to our home!
