Gracious, welcoming, completely immersed in the Carnic Alps, at the foot of the steep streets that climb inside the village, the Hotel Restaurant "La Perla" pampers its guests in a familiar and elegant environment. The day passes pleasantly, in a romantic escape between snowy landscapes and traditional recipes. Upon waking up in one of the lovely rooms, furnished with simplicity and good taste, just look out the window to immerse yourself in the total silence of the snow-covered mountains and the magical morning light. There are lifts just outside the hotel and the temptation to spend a day on the snow is too strong to give up. After sport it's time to relax, making use of the hotel's wellness center for a sauna, a Turkish bath or, even better, a regenerating hay bath. At nightfall it is time to taste the local cuisine, a cuisine rich in flavors, made up of well-presented dishes inspired by tradition. And to end the day there is nothing better than gathering around the characteristic "fogolar", sitting in front of the fire, enjoying a good wine and being told one of the many legends of the place, animated by spiteful goblins and dancing fairies, up to be surprised by a magical and peaceful sleep

We made our first visit to the hotel in December and returned for the w.e. of Easter. The room, the bathroom, the wellness area and all the common areas are warm and welcoming. The wellness area is well equipped, we appreciated it even more during the less chaotic hours and periods. For those who ski, the ski lift is very close and you can go there on foot with your equipment on your back. The view from the rooms is always very romantic. Abundant breakfast for all tastes with many zero km products, the dinner menu offers typical and non-typical dishes, but always delicious. We particularly appreciated the attention to particular dietary needs with specially cooked dishes. In conclusion, highly recommended, I hope that with the new works the prices do not undergo significant increases because we absolutely want to return.

5 * rating as it is a pleasant reconfirmation over the years
Cozy, clean, well-kept house with refined cuisine.
The attentive and kind hospitality of the owners and collaborators gives the pleasure of the stay added value as well as the attention to every detail.
In such a serene environment, relaxation is guaranteed and supported by a sauna, Turkish bath, Scottish shower, hydromassage pool and swimming pool with wellness area.....

Reception and staff were very nice, uncomplicated and accommodating. Check-in went smoothly and quickly. We were able to park our motorcycles in the underground car park, which cost 3€ (not bad but other hotels offer it for free). Dinner was good, but breakfast only average; only white bread and little choice of topping. The room was clean and spacious with a very large modern bathroom.

We had been there in 2017 and had a great time but this time . . . Let's start from the room with the stained carpet (see photo). In the bathroom a stool with rust. Half board: in the evening we are accompanied by the waiter to our table and we have our little dog with us. Just before we sit down we are struck by a scream that attracts the attention of the entire room and probably of neighboring condominiums (Germany) that warns us that dogs are not allowed in the dining room. They put us, goodness them, in the ceremonial room with a beautiful dim light but with neighbors of the sofas where after a short time people sat down to chat aloud to be the background of the dinner. At breakfast (which looks like a canteen with watered-down juice), we ask for juices and the waiter takes care to say that they are for a fee, to our consent, he turns to the bar and screams "a juice for a fee to the room xxx, thus informing everyone present. On the second evening, always in perfect isolation, after 40 minutes the waiter comes back to remove the dishes that had never been brought and it turns out that the "command" had been lost. The owner tried to apologize for the inconvenience. For the record: bad room, breakfast with cold cuts and discount products, mediocre dinner with glutatamate scents, incompetent waiters and (small) dogs welcome only words. Luckily it is not the only hotel in Ravascletto.

We stayed at this property for 3 nights, two adults and a child.
The hotel is awarded 4 stars, probably true for the services it provides, restaurant, spa, outdoor play and relaxation area and ample parking above all.
The problem is the provision of these services as well as cleaning. In our room (whose bathroom was 60 years old, not corresponding to the photos of the requested superior room) there were cobwebs, and they remained there, also in the child's room it stunk and I had an allergic rash as soon as I sat on the cot, never happened.
At the restaurant we had half board with dinner included, embarrassing service, they asked to fill in the choice of meals for the next day, but the next day they didn't take the paper from the table and we waited half an hour before they realised. Another evening, however, we were told that the bread had run out (never happened in a 4 star hotel), basically whoever arrived first had it.
The vegetables are on the buffet, one evening we took some tomatoes for the child, they were rancid!
The food is good, some meat dishes would require more cooking (like the shank) but all in all they were ok.
Breakfast from a provincial 2-star B&B. Very slow coffee machines, absence of natural fruit juices (only in bottles), lack of choice in general. On the last morning I found myself eating 2 pieces of tart and after almost 30 minutes they added fruit and a dessert.
The structure is of a beautiful mountain hotel, with carpets and rugs at the entrance which are very noticeable for a 4 star, rooms not all renovated, at least our bathroom was not and we were in a superior....
Prices are not very low, we are talking about an average of €235 per night and we are not in high season for skiing (the location is exactly in front of the Zoncolan ski lift)
We can do much better, we won't be going back.

Traveled as a couple, nice structure, surrounded by a very quiet country, where you can certainly enjoy the relaxation we were looking for. Courtesy and kindness of the staff definitely appreciated. We did not enjoy the spa service, for our personal issue.
The right dinner in proportions and varies in the proposal with particular dishes that are presented with pride and tradition, a definitely super breakfast, also suitable for people like us who have significant feeding limits especially in the morning, and the local restaurant is certainly an elegant element of the place.
The room very spacious and with a very pleasant view, but certainly the structure has not enjoyed significant renovations and in particular, in the room, there is always an important smell of staleness that penalizes a bit 'the overall judgment on the entire structure.
We enjoyed this complex for five days and I must point out that, however, I would recommend it because many of the features present brightened our stay.

After a day on the snow we had dinner at the restaurant (no overnight stay). We had high expectations, given the reviews and opinions heard from acquaintances. Approximate and slow service, we had to wait a long time; the wine, although ordered immediately, was served when we had already eaten the appetizer. For the quality of the food the tastes are personal (some dishes were good and others less good), but some "pairs" of flavors were too risky: you do not need to overdo it to amaze. The fillet was probably not threaded, with ribs.
Disappointment.

We spent a weekend relaxing with the wellness service. Indeed well equipped and complete with excellent heat inside. The room was small and the bathroom was vintage. Dinner was good, well prepared with excellent service. In my opinion, at 35 euros each, the portions are rather small. Friendly staff and clean hotel, but not at four star level. Noisy rooms and people outside with loud music until late in the evening.

Ideal for relaxing after cycling or walking in the surroundings.
But there are two negative aspects:
- we stayed during a weekend when the hotel was crowded with German-speaking bikers who monopolized the common areas starting from the parking lot without any consideration for other guests or any intervention by the staff;
- the room, dated as furniture and with carpeted floor, although very large was dark with a very narrow and unusable terrace.
Coming to the positive aspects, the cuisine - which favors local products - turned out to be excellent and the service staff extremely friendly and helpful.
Comfortable spa where the sauna is new and very nice.

We (2 adults, a child and a dog) spent 5 days in the first half of January. This was our second visit to the Ravascletto and hotel La Perla and it will not be our last visit. The hotel is very cosy and clean, the staff very helpful and friendly and meals we had are extraordinary. There were always some local dishes prepared with local ingredients and the choice was really great. The hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from the Zoncolan ski area cableway. We also enjoyed the spa and pool area. I would recommend this ski area and particulary the hotel to all families and ski lovers!
